Lolis vs. Amazons

Ah, the eternal struggle. Cute little girls versus tall, tough warrior chicks.

So I see a whole lot of lolis on PSU, but very few amazons. Personally, back when I was playing Extra Mode, I made a loli for the novelty of a tiny girl swinging around a Ginormous Sword, and she stuck when I moved on to Network. However, I have at times been tempted to try an amazon instead. The fact that Janie Wyler is one of a million lolis, but an amazon would actually kind of stand out, adds to this temptation. (I'd try both, but in either case I would want to go Fortefighter, and I don't like pure melee enough to do it on two characters.)

But more generally, does anyone else notice the same problem? An epidemic loli infestation (my apologies for contributing to it) with a dire shortage of amazon goodness? Or am I the only person who notices/cares?

I didn't mean to quibble about nomenclature. But I don't get what's amusing about calling videogame player-characters that look like little girls "midgets".

I know what "loli" are, and unless the player-character is somehow acting in a sexual way then how the heck are they "Loli"??? Loli is a slang term for sexualized little Anime & Manga girls that are fictional.

I don't know why it's "popular" to use such loaded Otaku slang for underage-looking videogame characters. A person's or people's perveted ideas shouldn't be broadcast out publicly, and "loaded" slang being used to jokingly refer to videogame characters is not all that amusing in my view.

My female character is more of like a regular young adult woman, she's not loli, but at the same time, she's not maximum height or an amazon either. If I do make female characters, I make it somewhere inbetween the two extremes described in this poll. My female newman may be my shortest character, but it has more to do with what Tengoku said, women are in average shorter than men. And if anything, I made her a bit taller than how the female newmans start off.

All four of my characters are female, and none of them fit either the term "loli" or "amazon". I am female in real life as well, so no, I'm not some guy only looking for "something nice to look at while I play a game."

My Beast is a bit shorter than most beast women, but is nowhere near "loli". My CAST is actually the tallest of my characters, and is considered a parody off of those sexy robot maid types. My Newman is of average height and stature, and my Human is the same height as my Beast, but shorter than the Newman. All of them have pretty big bust sizes so they don't look like little girls.

If I had to choose, I'd say amazon over loli, but I'd prefer being an average height. Not too muscular, etc.

I made my newman female average height, though maybe slightly taller than default. I didn't want her to be tiny. I like really small breasts, and I thought if I made a tiny newman with (basically) no boobs she would have ended up looking like a child, and that would have put my boyfriend in the awkward position of having to compliment and gush over my child-like character without coming off as somebody that likes kiddie porn. So... yeah. No miniature characters for me. I try to make mine about my own size, for the reason I already went over as well as the fact that I just think characters look better closer to their default sizes. Stray too far and they start to look deformed.

So I'm not the only one who tried to make an "alter ego", my main looks as much as myself IRL save for the white hair...

I have myself a somewhat average girl and an amazon. Amy is the average one, but I also added a little more muscle to her than most other females out there. Liz is definitely tall, but not overly muscled. When creating her I slid the proportion bar all the way to the left and kept moving it up and down until I found what I believed to be a good balance between strength and femininity.

The thought did come across my mind to make a little girl and give her a big sword, but I soon realized that there would be more than enough characters like that out in Gurhal. But now Liz feels kinda lonely. I've seen a total of two characters out there that match or break her height.

At first, I thought Tall people would stick out, but I think enough Casts and Beasts stay tall, and I've seen a load of average-sized humans.
