Silly ST, using bad engrish for the word "Half" and "Seraphim" Not even SoA translators bothered to fix it, or bothered to fully *proof read* all of their translated text.

It's should of been "Half Seraphim" and "Seraphim Dagger" when put into proper English. I'm a stickler for correct translations of other language, that's just me. LOL

I mean "Halp Serafi" just looks and sounds really goofy as a name for a powerful, angelic-looking dagger empowered with Fire IMO,
but "Half Seraphim" does sound a whole lot better I think.

Silly me, running around looking for the Rappies to get a Rabol Rappy armor.. Little did I know Newman FORTETECHERS and Human PROTRANSERS won't have enough DFP in a LONG time to wear the damned thing.

Why would a single version of the Seraphim Daggers be called "Harp Seraph", since it's half of the twin dagger set, I think "Half Seraph" make more sense IMO.

"Harupu" may be translated as "harp" sure, but it doesn't make any sense to call a dagger a harp.

If it was meant to be "harp" it probably would have been "ha-a-pu" and not "ha-ru-pu". Also, if it were supposed to be "Seraph" it would have been "se-ra-hu" and not what it is: "se-ra-hi". "Seraphim" is plural, but for the sake of argument, if it were to be that instead, it probably would have been se-ra-hi-n or se-ra-hi-mu. ("H" is used to form certain "F" sounds, it's inconsistent though.)

In other words, "Halp Serafi" is accurate. Accurate enough, anyway. There are bunch of weird translations in PSU, yes, but this is not one of them.

On a side note, some trivia if you didn't know: Rie Tanaka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rie_Tanaka) was the name of Karen's Japanese voice actress.

I found a feather tonight in C rank Relics hunts. And with some help, obtained the other mats needed. Synth started and should be ready tomorrow night, i'll post again when its done for those interested.

Got lucky with the feather, but my 10th or so attempt at a rare map on relics and i got it, three rappies all dropping. Got the serafi feather, rappy feather, and a decor...lol

...Who's to say that ST has to use proper english for their weapons? "Halp Serafi" could just be the name of the weapon, you know. It doesn't necessarily mean that it's incorrect. The name can be any random bit of crap they decided to come up with. If you're going to use the "stupid translators" argument, why not bash the fact that the Yohmei and Tenora swords are "Saud" and "Soda," respectively? Because it's blatantly obvious that the names were chosen to SOUND similar, but be different. I see nothing wrong with "Halp Serafi." "Half" would just.... sound stupid. I like the name they chose.

Oh, and the japanese screenshot says, "Ha-ru-pu Se-ra-hui." It is not "hi," because that is a different kata. "hui" is meant to make the sound "fi." Since Japanese is phonetic, this becomes "halp serafi," or, as previously mentioned, "Harp Serafi." But since Japanese sometimes doesn't make sense when translated direction, some decision must be made. Therefore, I find it to be a perfect translation. I agree with A2K: there are weird translations sometimes, but this isn't one of them.

That 100% Make on that is really nice.. I'd hunt it, but I'd be hunting it for naught. I'm absolutely NOT going Wartecher anytime soon.

But now rethinking things, I'm kinda sure that Protranser 80/10 will be able to wear the Rabol Rappy. My Transer' is only 54/7 and his DFP is 65. I'm quite sure when I get on up in level I'll have at least 90-100 DFP. I'm sure of it.

If there are any Maxed out Transer's out there lemme know. Send me a PM.

But anyways.. like I said I hope lots of people find this dagger I really would like to see it's effects and all. Though.. I don't know that many Wartechers :/

stop accusing me of hacking, especially when I don't and everything you've said/accused me of is false. I never through many S ranks for a blackheart, and I cannot make more money by hacking because I've never ever had a CE, and wouldn't even know where to get one. In fact, my computer has basically nothing on it, because it has a brand new hard drive.

Yeah, my BF's also came out at just 10%. He used it for a bit and loved it, but saw an offer for a Sori/TECH Charge and traded the dagger for it. Sad to see it go, but he got a very nice unit for it, so good for him.

The dagger looks so cute in person! And the normal attack isn't called "Attack", but "Dance". The feathers that fly from it when you swing it is a nice touch.

So far the ones I've heard who've got the board and synthed it only came out to 10-14%. Wonder if anyone got a higher %?
