View Full Version : Why am I starting to gain such low stats for lvs

Ok, so Im a Fighgunner(10) male beast and since Ive hit level 60 Ive gained 15hp and 7atp each level for the last three of them. Is this a glitch or is it just that your stats start to go down and do they go back up eventually?

Your stats aren't going down, but your stat gains are starting to become less rapid. It's supposed to happen.

They just keep on getting lower. I got my main to lvl 80 Friday and the final lvlup stats were low cpmpared to the sweet gains 40-60. Its just how they do stats. Lots of rpgs start giving lower stats on lvlups that are above the lvl what you really need to be at to function well.

that sucks. I notice it too, turning level 66. used to be there were still good rewards for getting higher level in PSO.

At least leveling is not quite so painful at 66.

Towards 200, it made no difference at all. Besides, you can't really compare PSO and PSU stats, since each PSO class had distinct stat caps, something that may or may not even be present in PSU.

ahhh, but remember the beauty of maxing ATA around level 130-140 with a DEX mag and a single god/arm unit? that freed up another slot so you could finally slot a fun unit?

I remember the first time I fought in seabed witha a cure/freeze. Poor robots and spinny black dudes. hee hee.

The only thing different in how you Lv up in PSU verses PSO... The EXP charts on PSU SKYROCKETS LIKE A DAREDEVIL MONKEY DRINKING A KEG OF WHISKY ON THE 4TH OF JULY!!!...

If you think EXP requirements are bad on PSU, you clearly never made it close to level 200 on PSO (yay, only 4 million to next level!).

Lv50-51 on PSO didn't have 3 digits above 400,000, Infact, that's near the ammount of a Lv109 to 110...

PSU gets big booms to EXP... The EXP needs go up faster really..

True, it didn't jump up so rapidly at those levels on PSO, but when it did increase, boy did it ever increase.

In terms of total experience, level 183 was halfway to 200.

The growth of the stats changes and follows a different pattern at lv 60 online. That's why it's suddenly different.

As a human I didn't notice this... maybe I'm just blind but going from 65 to 66 made a fair difference for me about the same as levels 40-60, maybe more...

As a human FG, my levels definitely aren't as good as they used to be. 74-75 gave me 2 ATA and I think 4 ATP. That's pretty normal these days...sometimes five or six, but yeah. Don't expect any more.

Are you taking into effect the race bonuses that you can get by combing the rigth race with job type. since in many cases this is a considerable boost to your stats.

i dont know of hand the stat bonus per job lvl and race bonus but a Cast Ranger/fortegunner gains something along the lines of 210% boost to their ATA with a maxed out Job Type.

So it may be that stats dont go up as fast at higher lvls but Hunter type jobs never had the boost that ranger and Force types got.

aka - Forte Figther lvl 10 give around 128% of your base ATP per lvl
Forte Gunner lvl 10 gives around double your base ATA per lvl
and Forte Techer lvl 10 gives around 150% of your base TP and 245% of your base MST per lvl

and these figures dont take Race Bonuses into account either

If you take a look at the stats spreadsheet at psupedia you'll notice a drop-off of stat gains at lvl 60+. Those are calculated on base stats so you won't see any type bias.

The exp increase in psu is good in my opinion. From lvl 50 on it has a pattern of 4 lvls increasing 1% more exp then the 5th a 10% increase. A lot of rpgs have something around 25-100% exp increase each lvl at high lvls.

hello?!makes no sense?!sega is stringing you along to keep you playing and putting the 10 bucks per month in their pocket!cmon,man...

content updates?high experience per level?huge chance of failing synths?moving the 360's ultimate arts back for 2 weeks?
all a scam to keep you looking forward to things in the game and to keep you playing so they can stick it in your hiney for the 10 bones per month.

you overestimate the game developers ...unfortunately, most if not all of them are out to do nothin but make the dough.sucks for us,but we keep playin cus we enjoy it.
