PSU-PS2: How to sit/dance as opposite gender w/out keyboard?

For those of us on the PS2 without keyboard access, can we do all those sound effects, customizable text colors, alternate gender animations, thought/shout bubbles, and other cool stuff?

I thought I saw some complicated faq on how to do so, but alot seems to involved pressing shift key, and crazy text commands to do so. And unrealistic for PS2 players to do without a keyboard.

Just wondering. Cause I like how the guy animations sits compared to the females, for example...

I've never tested this out on the PS2, but when you're about to select to do a lobby animation (from the menu), try holding down one of the 4 front buttons while doing it. R1/R2 L1/L2. I'm thinking L2, but it might be one of the others.

For the record, the only animations closed off from opposing sexes is the sit one. Your stuck with your sit emote, no matter what...sowwy.

It's the L trigger for us X360 players, so it must be either L1 or L2 for you PS2 folk.

I think for PS2 users, you can try using one of the L triggers too, worked for me. And wow, no keyboard? Man, that sux when you're gonna chat or something.

Hold L2 and press the action.

So that takes care of the opposite gender animations.
What about the thought bubbles, shout messages, and sound effects? Only available for keyboarders I'd imagine cause of the long nonsensical coding envolved?

Yea, not having a keyboard sucks. But I get by enough. I've had PSO/DC practice back in the day.

I believe its kinda the same for the bubbles. I think its one of the L buttons you hold when pressing "enter" on the soft key board for shouting. and for thought I believe its L3 doing the same. I think.

As for sound effects, its "!" + a number. For example I think laughing or something would be !4
