Yesterday's JP version patch

Along with a number of new features such as word wrap and antiscopic filtering and a few options for how sound plays on windows installations, a huge bug has appeared.

As of right now, all AMD Athlon XP processors are unable to run PSU. Sega is aware of the situation and has made an official announcement about it. The question now is will this follow onto the US/EU PC version as well when patch time comes?

Itsuki-chan mentioned this in the Illuminus Challenge thread. Very strange, indeed. It doesn't seem to affect Story/Extra Mode, either, but that's mainly because it's a separate executable and hasn't been patched in ages, has it?

Yeah, Story/Extra Mode is completely seperate. When that patch came around that gave a lot of people framerate trouble in outside areas, it never affected offline either.

Also, 'bout time they added Word Wrap. PSU badly needs it.

Yes, Story/Extra mode is still stuck in 1.0004, but you can also play 1.000 if you never patch up...Hm...makes me wonder what was changed.

Damn, that's a pretty big bug that needs fixing.

And my PC has an AMD processor. This needs to be fixed or I'm SOL when it comes to playing PSU.
(Unless I can log onto a ps2 with my old account *shudders* )

AthlonXP bug fixed. Any importers still having problems needs to uninstall and re-install PSU.

And that's the end of that. Any word as to what exactly caused the issue?
