Grinder synthing , how many does it take to make a +10 grinder?

Even if it DID work, how many serafi feathers and how many dozen Goldania are you going to go through to get a better percent?

All they Did was remove the cancel synth option at the takeout screen.

Are there any other 100% synth weapons this can be tested on?

And you would do it for grinders why?
Jesus so much easier to just make as many as you can...

+7 grinders are fine for up to +5 grind

at that point I think it would either auto-put it in your inventory, or lose the weapon all together. If not, it's highly likely that there is a set percentage to it. When you choose to synth, it decides if it will succeed or fail, and then if it succeeds it decides a random percent. That's actually pretty simple code to write and highly likely.

Actually i disagree for one simple reason.

If you get to that screen and disconnect then the random % that it would be is still fixed. You've taken it out of the PM synthesis but havent placed into either inventory/storage. Considering that the roll for what number % it will be is determined as -soon- as its taken out of the synthesis field, youre going to either end up with the same % or risk losing the data altogether from frequent disconnects.

This is of course speculation on my part as to when the actual roll for whether a given weapon receives it's % and or success/fail is known for sure. It could be generated right as you fire the synthesis up in the PM and you just wait a proscribed time as per weapon rarity/success rate.

Point is once youve arrived at taking the item out of the synthesis field youre stuck with what youve got. The only reason the synth glitch was exploited was because the item was -still- in the synthesis field. The glitch worked off of whether or not you wanted to cancel the synth after it was completed prior to being placed into either inventory/storage.

with a 100 strk PM a 1* saber is only 90% synth chance, so you can't test it on that. My guess is that after d'c you will log in to find a failed Halp Serafi, that is unless they used similar code to the grinders which doesn't seem likely. Items like grinders, wood/metal upgrades are all 100% and I don't think they have a code that tells them what to do if the synth fails (other than change it to succeed, that's why it still works on grinders). The Halp Serafi despite being 100% chance is still a weapon and will be set to fail if you d'c. But that's just speculation on my part, I don't think anyone's crazy enough to try it.
