Im not sure how the pc ps2 one is but Im still convinced its hacked to shit because hackers who knew the illegal items sweep was coming probably just sold everything and made as much money as they could before it all went down.they cant get banned for having 4 characters with 99999999 meseta each. -.- theyre still rich and still being assholes I bet you.

Cash_Lavi, come on in, that water is fine. The people are mostly nice, the prices are mostly coming back down (slowly), and the place is mostly back to where is (probably) should be. Many players to tend to speech bubble spam a little too much, a lot of player shops still immensely overprice nearly *everything*.

IMO No item or weapon or armor should be priced in the millions.
8* and 9* equipment should not be priced over 200k, yet dozens of player shops

Other than that, and the *segment* of the player population that act like ass-hats, jerks and dumbasses PSU on the PC/PS 2 servers are doing "ok", not "great" just "ok".

Scriptkiddie cheaters or "hackers" have really dwindled down so much that there barely noticable, and dupes are very few.
"Hacked in" meseta is slowly decreasing and just about no scriptkiddie can make duped meseta anymore from what I hear.

But there are a few dozen players or more hording their 90 million to 99,999,999,999 meseta though.

Many, many things are grossly overpriced, but a-rank armor really should be a few million. For the vendor-available stuff, you're talking (in some cases) over half a million for one attempt with less than a 50% chance of success. If that armor came out lucky with a decent elemental percentage, it's worth that much more.

Then you've got the drop-only armor--Weld Line, Ganna Line, etc. Still over 500k per attempt, still less than 50%, with a drop-only board.

I can't see how someone would charge less than a few million for one of those things.

And for weapons, anything over 24-ish % is pretty rare and is worth a good amount more as a result. Strangely enough, people are a lot more stupid about synth mat pricing than they are about the finished products, in most cases.

Hopefully sonic team gets more advertising for the expansion pack. I think that will bring more players. I left 360 to come to pc/ps2. The way I see it is most of the ppl on pc servers are the people that really enjoy the game, and the 360 players are mostly people that enjoyed the demo.

I play on the pc/ps2 version (with my pc). I just got back last week. I see a fair amount of people wherever I go. There's TONS more missions than when I left. Haven't seen any obvious signs of hacking since getting back. Overall, very nice to be back. Long live PSU!

To answer the original poster's question, it's settled down a bit in PC/PS2. Hax are still around, but people have to realize you can't stop someone who is pretty damn determined to hax a game, especially if the game itself is still half-clientside.

Prices are insane, but really, everything is actually the "same" in terms of the scale. You just add a few extra zeros to the price of some of these items and that would be your 360 equivalent. Going off of that statement, that means you too can make a decently stupid amount of money, and be able to synth decent equipment (i.e. be self sufficient) and to be able to make liberal use of scape dolls, trimates, etc. compared to the 360 version.

There's still a lot of haxeta flowing around, but it's not as crazy as before.
