well... i'll hopefully be getting my GC copy of PSO later this week (fingers crossed!) and now that we can have upto 4 chars per memory card, i'll be wanting a character that can offer some sort of support in the form of shifta and deband.

now lets assume that i have a lv200 RAmarl and a lv200 FOnewearl (base lv200 stats) both with lv20 S/D (yes i know that the FO can go upto lv30 but i wanna keep things simple for now).

now as the FO will have a much higher MST does that mean that her S/D will have a better effect then the RAmarls even if the techs are at the same lv? i assume that it will have an effect but i just like to make sure http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

in other words, does MST have a direct effect on S/D?

No, the amount of ATP/DFP increase is only based on the level of the tech.

I'd heard that it affected the duration, but maybe that's just the Mag stat levels?

Nope, duration is also based only on the level.

Ah, cool, thanks. That makes sense.

Think the only aspect MST would effect is the range of the spells.
