Well, I just kind of felt like drawing Maya, so here goes. Looking at it now, I kind of think that I made her hips a little too small. Oh well, I kind of used a picture of Misaki from Divergence Eve as a reference for the body, who was drawn to have very large bust size but with a very skinny body.

Your detail in anatomy has improved, I think. You've still got some work to do, but it looks clear to me that you're making progress. Never give up, Shiroryuu.
One secret I learned is that once you stop looking at an image as an object, but shapes, the process of drawing/sketching goes alot faster.

I'm kind of taking Figure drawing class in college this semester, and my teacher also says that my drawing has progressed alot through the semester. Thanks for the comments guys.

The lines are getting smoother! Its goood to hear that you're getting better at this. Good thing im learning how to edit easier in my 2d art class. But of course, you'll probly allready in that class.

Nah, the class that I'm taking now is actually the first one I ever took in college.

Ah, thats cool. but still its best to take a computer art class just to be safe. SOme art majors require a 2d/3d classes before you graduate from college. That's probly going to drive me nuts with the other side tests. @.@ My college is nuts

Well, I would suggest you don't reference drawings, but "real" humans. THIS LINK (http://hollywood.outsidethebeltway.com/2006/03/rachel-hunter-free-at-last/rachel-hunter-swimsuit-photo-2003/) has a woman that might fit with your idea of a more chiseled body.

At least YOU'RE improving.
But I'm mostly focused on my writing now...

Good advice all around. Nice to see someone attempt Maya fanart. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I've been thinking of doing some PSU drawings lately - Maya cut-ins screenies came to mind (for practice). Great to hear you're improving your education too! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

She's blocking off anything that shouldn't be shown, I'm not sure if this is TOO bad. ._.

One thing I do want to point out, now that I've noticed it...
Due to her skinny frame in your pics, she should have a midsection shaped like an hourglass, not like an X. Ribcages, you understand~

Yeah, I get what you're saying.
