View Full Version : Why no PA deleter?

Who wants to fill up all their PA spots and learn another just to delete one? What about us that made a mistake or obsessed with order and cleansliness? ST should take a cue from the POKéMON games and setup an NPC somewhere to delete our moves!

It isn't that big of deal, just don't use them. This is better than deleting spells on a whim and later regretting it.

Wasn't the purpose of the guy in pokemon to get rid of HMs since those can't be deleted normally? Nintendo wasn't just trying to indulge your obsessive compulsive behavior. I mostly played red and yellow, which don't have that guy.

I know how you feel.
Be sure you don't do any of the lame storyline missions or you'll have something else you can't delete that's going to annoy you more than unused PA's .... Goggles! They'll be stuck in your inventory, taking up a slot, forever http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I think of that myself too, but if I have a move I don't want to use, I'll just get it to like leevl 5, 0% EXP, and never use it again. Just cause.

I did that for Barta and Zonde http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

Well, now at least they're alot easier to use, so they aren't as bad.

Actually, they don't take an inventory slot.

I wouldn't mind a method to delete PAs myself. I have my characters "themed" to certain elements and I accidentally have an earth bow on Judecca among all his Ice and Dark bullets.

I check that screen often so it irritates me.

I have a rifle bullet on my human, and he'll NEVER touch a rifle ever again. I think I might delete some spells from him too, although I might regret that if I like Wartecher in the expansion.

You can replace PAs when you're full, at least. I'm guessing they're talking about Deleting PAs when you aren't already at 36 of them, and trying to add another.

Heh, back when I was a lowly hunter, I bought a mechgun PA to use it on my handgun. It kinda annoyed me, since I couldn't even use them, and I never used one as a fighgunner. Now that I'm leveling Fortefighter up, I think that PAs is going to stay lvl 1, 0 exp for a while more.

It would be nice to be able to delete PAs, but at the same way they might regret buying a PA they wont use, they might end up regretting deleting a PA they have leveled up quite a bit, and want to reuse again.

I say this because if there was an option to delete skills, I might have deleted the swords first PA, but now as a Fortefighter, I find I've veen using it once in a while.

I wouldn't regret it. They could even impliment the old "are you really sure about this?" line for those with second thoughts.

Yup that is indeed his purpose! Later on they introduced a regular move deleter and a move rememberer! Of course they were for technical purposes but I'd like to think it was also for us obsessive people. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Come on... Do we really need someone to erase our PAs? If you have the max, and want a new one, you can just delete an older one. Also, if you're that OCD, just make a new character...

So 36 PAs is the max?

Also, I want the patch that allows us to use the goggles just by pressing the shoulder button (like the PS2 have), instead of it taking up an item slot in my palette...

Neither of those count against the max of 60 items. I counted all of my items one day to find out http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

While in first person perspective, you can use the goggles by tapping the shoulder button. This saves a spot on your pallet. :3

OK this is wierd. Seems that one of those items counts 'against the max' of 60.
I removed my clothes & dropped everything I could from my inventory. Here's what's left:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/214/446980864_79d724ba26_o.jpg

Now something's not right here - it shows there's 2 items here, and (somehow) I'm only using 1/60 slots ... so if it's not the Goggles taking up the slot it must be the 0 Meseta.
