Does luck have any impact whatsoever on synthing?

I know the consensus is no but some people swear it does and people still seem divided.

Does having luck have any impact on success rates or elemental %?

I've only ever sythnd weapons when I've had at least two star luck (started and took out on the same day) and I'm 9/9 on 9* weapons which all have ok ice percentages.

I have a ton of 9* weapon boards plus all the materials needed but I've been holding off making them.

The only 50% I ever got (and I don't mass-synth) was a 50% Light Muktrand. Luck for the day = 0.
