My CAST should be ForterFighter or Fighgunner?

hey again all, nomad here. Pretty soon im thinking of finally playing my PS2 PSU online, and i was wondering what exactly would be better to pick for my 1st character. I wanna be a CAST with a strong hunter-based class who uses spear, and my usual PA is Dus Robado. Any suggestions?

Nope, you can choose as many classes as you want, just be (wary) of the PAs you pick. It is good to pick PAs that are shared between classes. It's kinda wasteful to buy certain PAs and erase them down the road as time goes by.

Being a Fighgunner doesn't mean using a Double Saber, well at least not until the expansion comes out, cuz then, Wartechers will have lv 30 skills for their S rank daggers, Acrofighters will have S rank Twin Sabers, Sabers, and Daggers along with being able to use part 3 skills.

No you can technically max out every Type if you want, you normally start off as a preset type depending on your race, it cost like 100 mesata to switch.

people that know how to use double sabers, use them well. If you don't know anything about double saber, and are going to just spam them, don't become a fighgunner. And if you never want to use ranged weapons, don't become a fighgunner.

Double Sabers are as over-rated as cards, axes, and cannons...

Even though I'm a fighgunner I say go fortetecher since you like spears since you'll benifit from your cast's high accuracy and 2nd best racial power. That plus your SuV at 20 will make you a great asset to any team.

As for the type haters on here, whetrher it is fighgunner, fortetecher, protranser, etc. it is pointless and counter productive. Does it really make anyone feel better to insult other people's choices on an online video game? Chill out for a sec and have fun because that is the only thing that you can say this game is really for, not trying to be a psu snob acting like you class, race, or playing style is best and the only way to play. This is a GAME after all people...

Fighgunner is a bit weaker in the attack power but has higer attack accuracy, they can also use more guns like the dual handguns, mechguns and crossbow.

Fortefighters have more attack power, defense and hp. They use more melee kind of weapons like swords, knuckles, spears, claws, and axes and they only get one ranged weapon the handgun.
So Fighgunner is more moblie while Fortefighter is a heavy melee kind.

Fighgunners have less attack power(not by that much) but higher accuracy and evasion. Also you have more choices in guns and you can use traps. Unlike the Fortefighter you don't get a PP reduction.

well,evidently it would seem that a cast would make an excellent fo-tay-fitah becasue of boosted accuracy.boosted accuracy + massive axe damage = wtf ....

however...

I chose to go fighgunner becuase of twin pistols, S rank dualies,and doublesabers.sooner or later I might change to fortefighter but doublesabers are not overrated.crowd control is unparraleled with gravity dance,which you get an extra target iwth with crea doubles,and tornado dance is the BANE of all large enemies.i.e.,jarbas,gol dova,bil de vears,etc.its like bogga zubba on steroids.really good stuff with doublesabers.twin pistols are also awesome DPS,and with level 30 bullets in the expansion,that means level 4 status effect for fighgunners,which means we be burnin the big targets.thats money in my book.

Im not knocking the fortefighters out there at all cus hell I may go aehad and make the switch sooner or later if i feel like it but it surely is worth it to try fighgunner.

all you fighgunner busters out there,hell,one man's play style shouldnt be jduged because a lot of other idiots happen to play that class.there are a lot of non-idiot fighgunners out there and its a pain that everybody knocks them so much.

nope....fortefighter gets S rank weapons in Sword, Axe, Spear, Glove, Saber, Twin Claw, and Claw (i think that is all). Fighgunner gets S rank weapons in Twin Saber, Double Sabers, Twin Daggers, Dagger and Saber (i think that is all).
