I didn't realize just how much Cards Own

As I was shooting a Jarba on Labs S2 with my best bow (7* Hanmateric I believe...) I ran out of PP and switched to my Ageha-Kikami and that's when I noticed...I was doing MORE Damage with my card than the bow o_O

Bow using Elemental damage against the Jarba did around 350HP damage per hit (that's the average) and granted that might not be a lot to some but it's all my Fortetecher can do at the moment with no Grinds/Units/etc... So using the Ageha-Kikami (and having buffs) I was doing 150+ a blade and x3 you get 450 and I rarely had a blade hit for 0. lol j/k Yeah cards are great, they are my favorite weapon to use as a Guntecher. Nice damage, awesome range, and decent SE application. I remember way back when I first saw cards and was like WTF! IM GETTING SOME!

Just recently (not TOO recently) they've made a big hit with fT. I'm glad too because I was starting to get disappointed in people ("OMFG WHAT WEAPON IS THAT!?!?")

Yeah, you need to get them to lvl 11+ to get the extra blade. Then you see how awesome they are.

Yes, cards are EXCELLENT in killing enemies that are resistant to your techs, but absolutely hate bullets (Jarbas, Gaozorans). http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Not only that, but you get to keep a wand handy on you as well, and get some quick heals in between shots.

Heh, I already capped ice, dark, light, and I'm almost done on lightning (would have capped all 6 elements by now, but I've been working on my Ult. bullets).

I like the fact that it homes in on your target. This makes it easier on me since I tend to keep a close eye on my party's HP/status, so I can concentrate more on my party and their statuses/locations and worry less about whether I'm hitting my target or not.

Cards do own quite a bit, of course, you shouldn't be ignoring your Longbows, though...

It's not exactly easy to hit airborne bosses with either techniques or cards, and Longbows offer the first-person targeting that those don't.

I've been in love with cards ever since I was able to use the kikamic. Right now I can do 240 to 300 damage per blade with an opposing element! It criticals for 450 to 500 which is awesome. Being a Fortetecher and doing that much physical damage is phenomenal.

Yeah, cards are simply made of awesome and win. I've been using bows for a long time on my GT, and had to wait quite a while before getting to use cards (you know, Beast ATA...) but damn do they kick ass. Especially with my higher base ATP with 3x bullets. I do about 420~470 damage with my lv 28 Insei-sou, and over 200x3 per card shot with lv 25 Insei-shiki on light monsters. Plus the fact that you don't even have to aim, only to make sure there's a little red target somewhere in your screen. The only downside I find with that weapon is the huge delay between firing the shot, and it hitting the enemy. Often, I see shots missing because an enemy dies before the shot can home-in and hit it. Still, it's probably the best ranged weapon, damage-wise, along with the crossbow. But the crossbow is a pain to level and only truly rocks at level 21+.

My main character's first job is Fortetecher, but since I decided to give him an alt job (Guntecher), I had the chance to try out cards early http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif And I have to say, I really did enjoy using them. Quick levelups (Atleast early on) and a very... I dunno, they're weird, but they're definately fun.

I like the homing bit, they'll even go up to hit the airborne De Ragan, which is cool in my book.

And it's the ONLY weapon I liked have a wand as the sub for Resta. They just worked so well together (Normally, I hate wands and refuse to use them, but I might make this a second resta source for while I'm flailing my cards around...)

When I made my alt character, I wanted him to be a guntecher, so I could use lvl 30 bow bullets. I love bows. I used them non stop. But as soon as my ATA was high enough to use cards and crossbows, I've been using cards a lot. They indeed do nice damage! My card bullet is now alnost as high as my bow. (since I get to play in forceless teams, or with restaless fortetechers a lot, I need a weapon I can use while having a wand ready to heal)

Card's are quite nice, when I switched to wartecher they became the equivalent of my crossbow.

Yea, son! Glad to see another person find how sweet Cards are! Once you get that -Shiki to lvl 21, you get 25% elemental bonus to your shots. It might be worth it to get all 6 basic elements, but definitely get Insei-Shiki, because the Confuse effect can be quite satisfying! Especially when you use it on Deljabans, they start killing the crap out of each other because they are so fast! Go-Varhas are susceptible to this as well.

i am forttegunner and crossbows are my favorite weapon... i switched to guntecher for a while, and i was like these cards are really cool!

But still all i used was crossbows and put the cards for when my crossbows ran out! ^.^

I use the light bullet for Cards because there's no light technic for attacking (and Regrants sounds very unappealing from the Perfect Bible's stats of it). They're a pretty cool weapon. =p

But, I find myself using Reisei and Yousei the most. I think I'll level that ultimate one sometime soon--it's just resting there at lv7! Not much use of 60 PA Frags unless you're a true lover of cards, I'll say that.
