A big thank you to people with user shops...

To all those with reasonable shops, you deserve a big pat on the back from the PSU community in my opinion. I've seen a lot of people whining and griping about the user shops, but very little gratitude.

I know some people are charging ridiclous prices or whatnot, but for every one of those, there's always a few good shops out there with reasonable prices.

I've made some incredible buys that have helped a low-level character like me really get by in a game where, let's face it, the NPC shops are on the verge of being anti-player sometimes with prices.

So, I just wanted to say thanks to the folks out there who put some time and effort into their user shops to give people legitimate deals cuz you really are helping the community.

See my sig. And thanks! I was tough way back when making back the 15k it cost to open the shop and everything afterwards was icing on the cake. Ripping people off is no good. I just wish it was easier to figure out pricing on stuff that can't be found in NPC stores~

Yesh! I've just been looking to buy cheaper-than-NPC player shops for Mot Wood and Ash, only to find people are charging them anywhere from double to 34 times the NPC prices!!! *slaps self*

that is why you check NPC for price before going shop-hopping. I try to keep my store reasonably priced. except for photons because those go for radiculously high prices. My prices are always in flux. must adapt to the market.

i am selling a lot of 9* weapons around 10%-18% at around 100k-150k. It might be cheap for them but i am trying to get rid of it at the same time...lol. Basically i am helping myself with spaces and helping other people that doesnt have much money to be able to afford equipments. I also sell some cheap yamata-senba at low % for around 150k as well. I might as well just give them for free...lol. The prices seem to go down quite a bit now cause ppl r probably running low on meseta now and cant afford stuffs that are price in the 10 million...the only problem left now is the photons price. if that goes down to around to 500-1k meseta each then our economy might slowly return to normal again. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Yeah, if stuff returned to NORMAL again... <_< I still can't for the life of me figure out how in the hell photon prices skyrocketed. It was almost literally over night, if I remember right.

Have you tried selling your protons for under 20,000mst I sell mine for around 15,000mst and I keep selling out. Or are you using them to make weapons?

Yeah, he's on 360...there is no way in HELL he'd get 1000M for any photons, much less 15,000. BTW, everyone is getting Kerselines and Vestalines these days. I suppose they aren't selling well because they aren't in demand.

I spend many many many hours daily working on shops and trying to maintain decent prices that are lower than 90% of other user shops out there offering the same goods.

Im actually grateful to those guys who over price. thanks to them I get more customers my way, which allows me to do better business.

However overall, its not fun to look around for an item and find every shop carryign it is over priced.

I know its not the kindest price, but its not the worst... beats most places. I do adjust somewhat when I'm higher or lower on cash, I'm thinking about dropping to 15k each once I clear 2 mil.

The only higher prices seem to be for armor, and who can blame them? Armor synth rates are AWFUL.

It would be great to be able to search for an item and have it listed 'cheapest first' because then a real economy would be created.

When pricing my own stuff I always search a few player shops and then undercut them. Things I find, or synth with stuff I've found rather than bought, I always sell really cheap. It jut seems the right thing to do. You make cash and help other players out.

I sell all 3 star weapons for 250-300mst and even my 6* is under 10000m. I'll continue to do this even as I rise throught the levels.

Some of the prices (360) are ridiculous but I can only assume that people do pay them otherwise what's the point of listing them?

Heh people need to stop by my shop . I should lock it and put the password on my card because my prices are low. If you need elemental photons I sell them for 50. No not 50K just 50 meseta each. Everything else is 50% NPC. 9* weapons go for 165K each. I have done this since I started playing the game in November. Even with all the meseta hacking I never once changed my prices although compared to most people I have crap equipment now but w/e.

The average price for ebons in player shops right now is 3600 to 3900 meseta. NPC price is 4000. This makes me sad. I'd rather buy from NPC (and usually do) than give money to these failures.

But yeah, you have to shop around. When searching items, some guys price their stuff high as hell, and some guys price their stuff so low. I remember I was seaching for something (forgot what it was) and some guy shop had all elemental photons (even Ray) for like only 750 Meesta. I thought he might've been a Noob and brought all of them!

But in my shop, like some other poster said, is about supply and demand. I might price a certain item high, and if it don't sell after awhile, then I'll bring the price down by about half.

I consider myself a back alley shop. 20k for photons? Not me, I sell them for 100 meseta. Everything I ever sell is 50% off, and since I'm a pack rat and collect the most common things (wenceline, aporaline, moatoob truffles, etc.) if I put this stuff up for sale, it's 75% off! It does suck that Sega doesn't help the economy out by pushing more weapons, armor, food etc. that uses a bunch of common stuff. Regardless though, I play on PS2, and my stuff doesn't sell very much, so whatever meseta I get is perfectly fine with me.
