thinking of getting Action Replay

...because I'm still stuck on Rigel 7

I want to convert my chars to 1.1 (with my mag), US, or PAL version (for free hunter's license) if that's possible. I had a Gameshark before, but I only used it to back my character up, and it was a small download. Do think it is worth it to get for those reasons? How long do you think it will be before there are codes like that, if ever?

Release Date?

Soon. Too soon. In fact it's always too soon to cheat. There's gotta be something you haven't tried. But if you are into that kinda thing the Action Replay will be released for GC very soon. And codes? That depends on the level of commitment of the hackers that make them.

For GTA Vice City I saw codes the day the game was released. So I'd say maybe within the week you'll see cheating online. Maybe sooner.

My suggestion, get a replay if you want, use it on offline only characters or to back things up. Don't spoil the game for other gamers. Online cheating is bad, and if you remember Version 1, you had to have a GS'er in your group just to distract the other GS'ers that would come in long enough for all the Straight players to high tail it out of there. Ugh, The glory days? I think not.

Nintendo has the same kind of policy. Such does not make one's console immune to it, unfortunately.

True that, but mod chippers have been excluded from XBL. They're working to make the same happen to AR users. and the AR isn't going to be out for Xbox for a good while. Hopefully we'll get a few months of clean play.

Remember what Baru said, though - the XBox form of PSO will be the easiest to hack, to the point where you won't even need an Action Replay to do it. It's doomed from the beginning..

It doesn't matter really. They're all doomed so lon as people have the will to hack, or until ST creates online only chars. I thanked Blizzard every day for that decision, even though I lost a high level zon.
