Hmm, I'm going to go download this now myself. This is probably why it's taking so long.

Edit: I didn't have to download an update. Uh, do us a favor, go to the title screen and click the left stick. Tell us what the number that appears in the corner is.

Hmm, then you definitely had to download something (mine still says 1.0002). I get no such notification when I load up the game, though. Perhaps they're still rolling it out.

It disconnected me from Xbox Live when the game was loaded, so I assume it'll do the same for you.

Noticeable changes for 1.0003:
-Offline clothing glitch fixed (you can now actually change your clothes again in Story/Extra Mode)
-Goggles trick now works. Go into first-person mode and hit RB! Is it Fire SEED event tiem now plz?

the update was for the mission select screen, like how it has nwo divided the missions into sections.

If u do not download the update your mission counter screen will not work, and you will not be abel to start a mission, but u will be able to join one http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

i didnt get the download till i was near the end of a crimson beast mission, which is how i knwo it messes up your screen >.>

You can also switch to the goggles in first person by hitting the left bumper now. This wasn't working for me before when people first talked about it.

Hmm, that in and of itself doesn't seem like the root cause, considering the Guardians HQ and Dagora Branch counters have been doing that for some time now. There might have been an added issue, though, with the other counters that something in the update alleviates.

my friend wasnt able to select any missions either until after he got booted and put the patch on.. then it worked.
