luck forecast

so, it used to be you could hop over to psupedia and check out their photon future log (http://www.psupedia.info/index.php?title=Photon_Fortune) and you could see who was having what luck a couple days in advance. what happened? lately it's been a day or two slow and hasn't shown a day in advance. is there a new place to look?

It was never a couple of days in advance. Japan is just quite a few hours ahead of the US so we'd get what becomes our fortune for the next day several hours before the end of the day. Now it seems that the fortune script on PSUpedia has become broken and so people can lazilishly copy what they have over here and no one really bothers to put what the JP site has either. So in the end, we're back where we started.

If you want to know why the script at PSUpedia is broken, you can ask them. This isn't PSUpedia nor is PSOW connected with them.

Also in a few days or so there will be no forecast anyways, since the JP servers are getting level 3 luck for an entire week

The script on PSUP is broken, and no-one is capable of fixing it other than Hitomi, who is working on other projects.

I think it's only about 12 hours ahead of us but you won't do any better than that. By tonight it will have tomorrows luck already posted, usually by 17:00 GMT I know what luck I'm going to have the next day.

Add it to your favourites and then you don't have to keep translating it, some of the wording is a little screwy but it's always been accurate for me.
