Playing as an android, you get traps to use as you play, and you naturally get more traps as your level grows. My problem is this...They don't simply run out. And they don't come back gradually, it seems. Rather, they all seem to come back at once, at a seemingly random time.

All I can see is that they come back at a death and a level up, but do they come back at another time as well? Is it a "so many enemies killed" thing or a time thing? It confuses me.

Traps are refilled when you lvl, are revived(I beleive) or when you goto the Nurse's area and get your HP refilled(traps get refilled as well).

Aside from that, I don't think your traps get refilled unless you go get them refilled. I haven't noticed anyways.

The healing rings do it. I love finding the rings by a room of hard enemies. Use all traps, get all back, use all, get all back. hehe

Doh, yeah. I forgot about that one.

Hmm..someone should check if a team mate casts resta on you if it also fills an androids traps.

Traps are refilled the same was TP is, but not using fluids of course. Leveling up, going to the nurse, and standing in a heal ring all restore TP and traps. Being revived with reverser or a moon does not restore TP, but being revived with a scape doll does. I'll check later and see if scapes restore traps as well

To answer ABDUR101 question... No Resta does not replenish your traps.

I wondered about this myself... though I don't really have any android characters... but you forgot to mention two more things that refill TP: Enterring a new game or starting/ending a quest (offline, at least).
