Does the level affect the efficienct of it, what i mean by this is if a shifta lv 10 for example is better than a lv 1? Since the other spells do have a percent modifier but the buffs/debuff do not. just something that has been bugging me for a bit. Thanks ^_^

Debuffs and Buffs only gain better effects at lvls 11, and 21, (31 and 41 in AoI)
Lvls 2-10 are just a barrier to lvl 11 ><

the affect with level doesnt seems to do anything...the affect only change once you hit 11+ then 21+.....in between doesnt makes the spell last any longer.
1-10 nothing change
11-20 level 2 buff
21-30 level 3 buff
and those are the only affect, so if u get it to level 21 ur pretty much done...>.>

nah, since they're only level dependant and not TP dependant; having a modifier would be pointless. so, to sum it up lvl 1 is the same as lvl 10

I highly dislike the levels for buffs and debuffs.

Back in PSU, Anti only went to level 7. It was just harder to get level 7 Anti.

Buffs and debuffs should only go up to level 3 (and 4 and 5 in AoI), but be a lot harder to level.

Level 1 = Level 1
Level 11 = Level 2
Level 21 = Level 3
Level 31 = Level 4
Level 41 = Level 5

The only problem would be throwing off the caps, you would either need ANOTHER tech type with appropriate caps, or change resta/giresta to conform to the buff/debuff scale. And only 5 levels of each of those would be fairly limiting.

I personally don't see much wrong with the current set up. Its not like it hurts anyone.

I must agree.

If you're still playing PSO you could always just Devil/ God/ Technique up to lv7 Anti... Anti lv5 disks aren't too rare... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_shy.gif

They could easily do that. PSO had them. HUnewearls got level 20 techs, and level 5 or so Anti. It's possible, SEGA is just lazy.

It's not that there's anything wrong with the way it is now, but that the fact that I have to gain 10 frikkin' levels for the spell to do anything at all different bugs me.

I'm not sure how you can call them lazy for not fixing something that is by your own admission, not broken. I'd actually be more upset with learning that an hour of buffing has given me only 10 freaking percent.

I agree ... only with an exception. Make it like pso where you can have it level up to 30, but have there be a very small difference between each level. Other than that, i love your idea too.

They could of done something like lvl affects the length of the buff (like in pso) and keep the actual system of power rising....At least that would give some point of having capped buffs http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

And that's why we have the expansion! Heheheh, we'll be set for our level 31 buffs, won't we, Eleina? XD

Guess we shouldn't mention the Acrotecher's level 41+ buffs then, huh?

No...Sega is definitely lazy.

We need to be able to debuff bosses in AoI. Seriously. Who doesn't want to take advantage of level 41+ debuffs? I mean, even if it only drops their ATP, DFP, ATA, EVP, MST, and TAP by 5% it's still better than nothing.

eh, I can't say for sure, but tonight I will run a test, but I am under the impression that my lv18 Retier tends to last a wee bit more than my lv15 Shifta/Zodial, not a whole lot, mind you, but I think it does affects a little
