How many Scape Dolls make you feel safe/comfortable?

For me my comfort zone is 3 Scape Dolls. As a Gt and even Wt I'm pretty much usually at distance from the really hard enemies so I don't die too often. I believe carrying less also encourages me to keep on my toes and not goof around. But how about you? Do you like a full compliment of them or somewhere inbetween?

1 or 2 is fine for me. Don't really need it though even in Dulk Fakis, unless a jusnagun teleports behind me and does megid 3x in a row.

I usually carry 5 Scapes with me. I rarely ever use them though, and generally hand them over to anyone who's lost one (or more) during a mission...

I generally ask first though. Sometimes the party actually wants rank (though I haven't been in one on the JP server that did in about a month XD). In those cases I bring 4.

I carry one and stow the rest on my PM. I usually bench myself if I die more than once, since I probably have no business attempting a mission that gives me that much trouble.

That is, of course, on missions where Rank results matter.

I voted 1 to 2, depends on the areas and characters I'm using (also their classes). With mei lin I rly rly rarely die when she's fT, as PT tho she needs a few scapes as a help. Archemedes.... bah one or two scapes suffice with all 3 classes. I carry a full stock of what i need. Which entails 5 G traps of each usuable variety (where applicable), 20 mates of which suit the current char the most, 10 scapes, and such forth...

6 scape is enough. I don't die anyway. Hell when I leveled ranger to 10, I never used a single mono/di/tri mate. It's an insult to use mates a newman instead of resta.

Anyway, i cope only with those i drop and synth, so when i get one, i usually stock it in my room in order to save it for further events where i'm quite sure to need it (like a megid dodgeball map).

i like to carry 7. any more and id be worried about picking up more scapes than i can hold.

btw, i play in random jp parties all the time and everyone uses scapes normally.

I typically carry around 3-5. I expect to use 1, at most, on one of the more difficult missions. (Hive might be an exception, but with so many requests to play Parum and Neudiaz; I don't see Hive so much, these days, to go back and see how much better I am against it.)

While I don't concern other people as much for their deaths, I'm especially hard on myself. It's normally (kill me once, shame on you; kill me twice, shame on me). Though I don't wallow in self-pity, I tend to simply use that energy to try to make an example of the next one of those buggers I see. Kind of wierd, since I'm a bit more self-sacrificing, in a group. Believe me, I'm gearing for the day. The day the Go Vahras get their come-uppance, and I'm in a position to simply make them my playthings.

i usually carry 3-5, but no more than 5 cuz i always end up doin sumthin retarded and losin the whole stack, so i keep extras in my PM... i feel safe with 2 tho, cuz if i die once i leave to buy another, n its always good to have one extra just in case megid hits me in the back of the head on the way out...

room, u just lock the party n drop ur scapes inside the mission.... suck

You got a real point. The scapes are often more or less for stuff beyond your control. No amount of gamer skill will defeat lag, if it happens at a bad time. That monster alone is better than any in-game monster ever produced. So is the woe of the internet. Still, it's a good thing it works as well as it does considering how it runs across various stranger's networks who don't know each other at all.

I could just carry around 2 or 3 and feel completely safe, but I always carry max. Its good to have max just incase someone else runs out.

3-4. I think that's enough just in-case something goes wrong. I even can say having 2-3 is fine. Right now i have 7 or 8 because I keep picking them up in missions >.<. Guess that's a good thing so I can hand em out if people do run low on scapes.

I typicaly run with 0. Besides; the vast majority of the time that I intend to bring scape dolls with me I end up forgetting them anyways and not realising until 3 or 4 missions later when my inventory fills up. It isn't that i don't need mission points or money either, it's just that you can always run the mission again if you didnt get enough.

On the other hand I never leave home without at least 4 Homemade Cakes.

doesnt mean they're skilled, they're just confident.

being that on S2 missions, even the weakest enemies can hit me for about 100-200, (which is 1/8 of my health) and normal/bigger enemies hit me for about 400-600, id rather not take my chances

I tend to carry around 7 or 8. Scapes are great bullshit insurance, especially when dealing with poor hit detection combined with lag, Protranser DFP, outside distractions, and those times when I just don't give a fuck (like attacking jarbas from the front with an axe without bothering to dodge the megid). Also, nothing goes wrong if I use scapes and forget to restock since I rarely use more than 2 per mission.
