State of the Game

What's the current state of the game? How active are the pst2/pc servers? How active are the 360 servers? What's the current level cap? How many S ranks are there now and what are they? Whats up with the expansion, I've heard about new classes, weapons etc., but I'm behind on the specifics. Last does anyone remember me AND/OR Golden Falcon.

I'm not sure about 360 servers, but the PC/PS2 servers usually have no more than 3-4 stars in Universe 2, the most active server. Level cap, last I knew was 80. The expansion is called Ambition of Illuminus and adds four new weapons (Slicer, Whip, Madoog, and Shadoog) and two classes, Acrofighter and Acrotecher.

What's the current state of the game? Not the best. Haxeta is still floating around, hax period is still floating around, people are perverts. As far as content, it's actually quite good.

How active are the PC/PS2 servers? U2 never fills anymore but peaks at about 4.5 stars, so it's pretty good I'd say. You can get in a few good Crimson Beast runs of any rank nowadays.

How active are the 360 users? Bleh, unno, and don't care.

What's the current level cap? 80.

What are the S-ranks available? Halarod, Crea Doubles, and Carrigune-Rucar, that's it.

Expansion? Two new classes, Acrofighter and Acrotecher. Just hit up the AoI Q&A thread for all you'll need to know.

360land fills anywhere from 2-3 Unis. With some stars in 16.

1. Seems to max out at 4 stars on pc/ps2 now at peak time.
2. Do not know about 360 probally 2-3x more ppl

4. just the boards drop so far for sranks and are non-seasonal drops

-b. Halarod- Demon's above S, The Eastern Peril S2 boss box
-c. Carrigune-Rukar- Satelite of Darkness S from Carrigune

You might as well come back and level your characters to a level where you'll be able to just jump right into AoI. (40 sounds good for this)

But trust me, a lot of people on the 360 are elitists. If you want an easier time in a party, or just want a fat wallet, PC/PS2 is the way to go.

As far as the return of past quitters, to tell you the truth, the people on this game are bad enough. It's obvious you don't have the patience to be satisfied enough with this game or wait until it becomes satisfactory, or analyze the facts, so this game could use one less of these types in it.

Yes, it would be. Having played both versions, I can attest to the 360 servers being the better side of the fence. You have your share of jerks no matter which side you play on, but the 360 version has the advantage of three to four times the population with an economy that hasn't been trashed and shows no sign of being trashed anytime soon. That and it's nice being able to talk to PSOW folks over voice chat (even though I haven't been in a PSOW party in weeks).

Granted, the PS2/PC version has settled down for the time being despite the damaged economy but rest assured, the moment the expansion hits and the game shows some sign of increased popularity this fall, the cheaters will be back in full force to try to cause as much damage as they can.

If you do not mind the heavy inflation or the possibility of cheaters returning, then stick to PS2/PC. If you'd prefer a larger group of people to play with and a balanced economy, then hop on over to 360. There's also the bonus of being able to see me almost naked too!

I don't know why some people can't take what is on JPN psu wiki as truth. There is a JPN pic of the Ank dedda board dropping and Stats of the Blackbull rifle. Now JPN psu wiki does not use any stats from hacked weapons and enough people there agree it drops. Pics or it didn't happen is so overused and not a valid excuse for it not dropping. Believe what you may but they do drop. There were many ill-formed people (mostly 360 lol)that thought the Halarod just recently magically started dropping from Demon's Above S. Same goes for the Carrigune-Rukar.

this might piss people off, but i might switch to the 360, more people, but considering how long after it cam eout that i started online.2 months late haha. i just now got to wield double sabers, played with my one char 140 hours to get lv 37, figh 4. woulda been only around 100 if CB woulda came out sooner.

note: im probably now gonna betray my LOYAL, NICE, NON SNOB ps2/pc friends, so dont get yer hopes up 360 players.
