For all you night lapuchas out there, there will apparently be no maintenance session tonight (http://www.phantasystaruniverse.com/news_maintenance.php) for all local PSU servers. (No specific reason was stated.) Things will be back to normal next week.

Take advantage of the extra play time! Or you know... sleep. Whatever works for you.

That's pretty cool, I guess. I wonder why they aren't having maintenance..

I haven't been on PSU in a few days...perhaps I should have a late night session.

I hope this isn't a sign that ST is getting lazy with the US servers...

Or it could be that the Japanese staff really does do the US server maintenances. Japanese servers didn't get maintenance too, but because it's Golden Week over in Japan. Plus it gives us more time to abuse the week of L3 luck.

Good to hear. I'm just a little jaded from the years on end of Christmas on PSOX.

Yeh. No maintenance could mean that the JP official site wont announce next weeks update a week in advance like usual.

Oh wellll.

What's so worthy of this to post about? There's been plenty of weeks where they didn't take the servers down for a maintenance o.O I doubt the same crew handles both servers as well considering I had alot more latency on the AoI server than I do on the EN server, so the latter has to be much closer geographicly.

Uh... what does maintenance have to do with that? They post what's coming in the next update in advance regardless of what happens the week before. This is also not the first time they haven't done a weekly maintenance >.>

Oh, maybe. (I come to expect less when things suddenly change around anything the company does)

Edit: See, temporary 5 minute maintenance probably. No maintenance ay? Turn the switch back on http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I hear this is becoming a common phrase in any household with a Sega product in it.

They cant just let their game simply run, they have to shut it down ya know, cause theres no maintenance. They just shut it down so turn it back on again :/ (aka, maintenance)

Edit: Gah they merged the topics, now it looks like im rambling more so than I actually am.

And we're back in business. It looks as if someone forgot to disable the "boot everyone off" protocol or whatever, apparently.

I like to imagine that there is an "LOL Sega" button somewhere around their equipment. When it's pressed, it does something random, good or bad.

But man, I still can't find the strength to get on tonight. I'm falling behind http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

(No. 044)
Server not found.

Oh no, they lost the server, that's why they aren't doing maintenance.

I never got booted either. I sat in someone's room chatting, and we were all like, "wtf, where's the maintenance?" Never happened.

I fell asleep and woke up still connected with a bunch of mail in my mailbox. Never got booted here either, appearntly.
