Forget male beasts, what about female humans???

Everyone seems to complain about the lack of 3 star luck for male beasts when I haven't heard anyone complain about female humans. No 3 star luck since 2/2/07. That is over 3 months and I think it's pretty crazy. I hope luck really balances out in the end, then I'll have many lucky days to look forward to.

I'm sure they'll have their day soon enough. They've been having 2* luck quite a bit lately. Female cast and female space elves seem to be the luckiest as of late.

You're right about having a bunch of 2 star days but no 3 star in over 3 months just seems wrong. I'm not even the type that cares all that much about luck but come on already. I've killed lv90 Adahna so many times now and found 7 different 8 star rares from him but no cannon and no synth part. I want some 3 star action! Just to give me the feeling like I have a chance at it. 3 months is just so long.

Found the board with 1 luck. In game luck doesn't mean anything... or 3 luck is just there to trick people into playing when 1 luck is basically the same. :/

I asked this question before but no one answered me: is 3-star luck the only luck that matters to people? Are 1- and 2-star luck just worthless or something?

I mean, I know people prefer 3-star luck for grinding, but most people just make alts of whatever race is lucky for that purpose. But for rare hunting... shit, I'd think anything would be better than nothing.

All the rare stuff I've found (crea doubles, degahna cannon, kotoha-senba, etc.) were with 1 luck. So I'm pretty sure 1 luck is better than 3.

Anyways, I've always thought that 2* was better than 3 'cause you didn't get shitty 7*'s in S2 missions, only 8*+ most of the time. From this games inception, I think that Female Newmans have got the luck dialed in ^.^ . (aka we're screwed later) .

As a person who's played a human female since release up to about..Mid March, I've always appreciated *any* luck. 1, 2 or 3, doesn't matter - as long as it's not '0' luck.

Those guys have way better luck than Male Beast, they get 1 and 2 luck more often than any other class.

Who cares about luck ? It have been stated in an official guide, I am sure I saw a thread about this, that luck increase the amount of drops, but not drop rates. (Less chances to have empty boxes)
Also that the luck of the whole party is determined by the leader. Which is ok since PSU is a MMO, playable up to six persons in a group.
Just need to know one person who have 3rd level luck and giving her/him leadership.

I don't see why peoples complain so much about luck, Newwomen and Caseals are those who have the most luck it seems, but aren't two of the 8 race/sex combo that are played the most ? It should be easy to party with the lucky ones.

true, we had a 14 day streak a while back with no luck at all. From Jan 27 to the beginning of may we hadn't had a day of 3 star luck. Only about 3 two star luck days inbetween. Male beasts are the poor class of society, no luck to make us nice and rich. But yet we get in and do all the dirty work. Then we beast to protect all that we party with.

must be a human male who has nothing to complain about with luck. Basically, I'd rather have more drops with 3* luck which will get me more meseta and more items then less with 1 or 2* luck which I recieve less. Even if luck doesn't increase drop rates, it increases the chance of a monster dropping an item. More items dropped, better chance of recieving something you want.

Therefore 3* -> higher drop rates.
Explanation: If on a 0* luck day you kill 10 monsters and recieve an item from only 2. Then you have 2 chances to get that 1/10000000 chance drop. If you have 3* luck and kill 10 monsters and recieve an item from 5. Then you have 5 chances at the 1/10000000 chance drop. Which ultimately gives you higher chance at recieving your beloved rare :0

Actually if you have 1/10000000 chances per drop to have the rare you want you have 1.9999999/10000000 (2.10^-5% chances) chances to have, at least, a rare everyday.
Which makes 4.999999/10000000 (5.10^-5%) a day when you have a 3 star luck.
I know it is hypothetic but it only makes 0.00005% difference.
All of this for saying that, in my opinion, you would have better chances to manage to get what you want if you farm it with friends.
Not only you can give leadership to the one with the best luck but, also, you will kill faster in group, which means more missions done per day, so more meseta, mission points, killed monsters and opened chests (more chances to have opportunity to loot)

And, finally, Nobo, female do more damages with techs, but the difference between gender is unsignificant in term of efficiency.
