Hey PSO was launched this year, PSO2 will be launched by the end of the year and Square may release FFXI (OH GOD!).
That's very good!!!!!!

Final Fantasy the movie will be out in summer.

Veriant Interactive will go bankrupt by the end of this year.

Hey dont forget about Final Fantasy X too! Which I think will be better than XI becasue you dont HAVE to play it online. Any game without the option to play offline is bad, if not for the offline options in pso we'd be hatin life since the server mess up alot.

I have to admit, 2001 is a very good year for online games and I can see more of them popping up in 2002 (FF11, Greenmoon, UO2, etc...)...

With all this time spent online, one has to wonder what will happen to the good ole' fashion regular games like castlevania, sonic, metal gear, etc....

But then again, maybe there is a trend here. Who knows, a couple months from now we could be hearing rumors about a Zelda onlne, mario online, 007 online, Megaman online, Jet grind radio online and dare I say, even a Tony Hawk online....
