There's numerous still active threads which detail people's reasons for playing female characters. Read some of those, and learn from them. Also know that unlike previous generations, my generation grew up with videogames - and we accept them as a legitimate form of entertainment, not just "kids toys" like they were reguarded in the 80's. So of course we still play them well into adulthood. In fact, there's more adult gamers than there are teen or child gamers.

It's not strange, or weird, unless you're a complete newb to the internet and gaming. Deal with it.

I've played alot of online games and I understand all this but alot of people are still going to find it creepy when a guy plays as a girl character. Deal with it. Eh, whatever to each thier own. I still find it kinda weird though.

I'm 32 and I get pegged as either around 18 (if they think I'm female) or around 12 (if they decide I must be male.)

I have no clue about the age of those I play with bar one, but some of them could be anything from 16-50.
