S2/SS missions are the highest current difficulty.the highest monster levels of S rank missions were...


The Mad beasts, level 90, S2 having 105
Rainbow beeast, level 50, S2 having 100(that one doesnt make much sense,but whatever,nobodys complaining)
SEED awakeneed, level 90, if it follows the current trend, the s2 will have 105...
dark satellite is also worth mentioning with monsters at 85.maybe this will have 100 monsters.

so,this leaves room for a decent array of droppable 10*'s,but according to trends,this does leave a lot of blank spots.sabers drop off of linear line creatures.unless they are found to be dropppable off of deljabans in the hive as well,(somebody please post if theyve found a rapier/buccaneer board off of a 85/90 delj).so we have max linear line missions in terms of monster levels,but nowhere near max possible item drops.I think ther emay be a few other items that have drop tables that will be affected by this but I cant really call them to mind right now.

but I think you guys get my point..where will these items be dropping?my guess is that there will be 1 mission on each planet with level 100 + monsters.that leaves no room for monsters that can drop 11*+ items.its almost a given that were probably going to wait until the expansion to see things over 10 *'s dropping,but what if we dont?will there be S3 missions?

11* Currently drop from the level 100+ bosses. So S3 bosses will probably drop the 12*, then we'll get AoI. It'll continue like that until we get to 15*

13*+ are AoI only btw.

You need to check out some of the JPN sites. There are already at least 8 11* weapon boards that drop from boss boxes in s2 ranked missions that JPN pc/ps2 have. It does seem there will have to be s3 ranking if we are to get all 12* before the expansion.

The 13-15 stuff is unfinished data on the PSU disk. Have to wait for AOI untill we can see them drop. AOI has the promise of much higher lvl monsters.

But... yes, the psycho wand board has been found on the JP version from sleeping warriors S2. Its an area drop, very low chance. Like crea doubles (maybe even lower).

Its also in the offline data files and hackable offline. Which means they originally planned to include it offline aswell (I guess they just never made it drop anywhere though).

also, S2 can go as high as they want really. its range is like what mobs 50-105? there still a few high level spots without an S2 in jp. endrum remnants dual sentinal, hive 1 and 2 come to mind, i think theres a few more, anyhow those quests can cover the missing items and 11 stars. Also its possible other levels have area drops that juts havent dropped yet. Its possible that withing S2 all the stuff can drop, and maybe even possible if the jp really gonna get aoi as soon as some think.

Personally, I don't expect to see any enemies past lv 11x range in this version of PSU. If they were gonna go higher then some of the S2 missions would have higher enemy levels. I also don't see any reason to go past S2 rank. You people need to remember that AoI's missions used alot of the current enemies only with a different element which use a different AI and some can be significantly more challenging to fight. Also being the same enemy, they'd follow the same series of drops and go up into the higher levels. In this way, you actually earn the 11*+ drops since things are more challenging. AoI's mission ranks also don't follow the usual level ranges either. Most likely, these 11* rares from the bosses in the hardest S2 ranks are the highest you're gonna go, sans the Psycho Wand and Agito Repca from their respective places.

Just to note, it is currently unknown what the upper boundary is for the 10* drop bracket. Level 119 is currently being used since the item/findings database requires a boundary. Level 119 seems like the most logical one considering the bracket proceeding it was 80 to 99.
