My PS2 took a dump on me last week, and I bought a new one this week. on the start-up screen, it told me since my character data and account data were on my old PS2, it could not read or load my old data. Just wondering what I need to do here, is there some way around this? I feel like it's right at the tip of my tongue, but am at a road block. 400+ hours on this game would suck to lose http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif How do I get around this, if this has happened to you? Thanks in advance.

Huh? I assume you mean offline? Sounds like your save file is messed up or something.

I'm sorry, I meant my online account. I thought there was a way you could do something with your account to bring them back on your newer console. I'm wondering if I can do this, or am I doomed?

I log into PSU PS2 from different consoles all the time. So I have no idea what your trouble is. Maybe it's just referring to the connection data that's saved to your memory card? The file that saves your network settings. Just delete that off the card and set your network up again. That should work.

It shouldn't effect your online characters at all. Those aren't stored on the PS2 memory card but on Sega's servers. You should contact Sonic Team's support site.
