Dreamcast died, this was one of the last major Sega 1st party games; SEGA went multiplatform without a console to put their games on exclusively.

Now there's Sonic in your Nintendo. /statin'obvious'

They could have at least kept up their game making prowess. Is it that much harder to make a good game if you don't have a console?

/me still has Dreamcast along with library of games.

I really wish they'd bring back the Power Stone series. ;_;

Yes. Less developers, everyone going their own way, being forced to churn out Sonic games to make money regardless of quality, no room for original ideas/games that may not make money.

Off Topic peeps wrote plenty on the fall of SEGA in a couple topics last month.

It's funny, you'd think that since they only make software they'd be able to make BETTER games, but that doesn't seem to be the case...

Dreamcast dying is only one factor the lead to Sega's collapse
The aftermath of the Dreamcast was that Sega was pretty much broke, and then Sammy bought them out and SegaSammy was born, and THATS when shit really started to go downhill.
