I think they got tired of fighting the numerous King Olgohmon. The damage those guys can do with Megiverse is a bit crazy.

On the subject of S-Rank weapons, I'd like to encourage people to submit pictures for the S-Rank weapons. The Item Database is rather lacking in S-Rank pictures for the new items.

Took me 32 minutes to solo Mad Beasts S2 the first time. Second time I ran through I hit Mizura on the 2nd map and while they're really easy to hit now, they have WAY too much life... so I got tired of killing them and abandon.

I'm soloing Mad Beasts S2, and repeatedly cancelling until I get a Vahra map, but those guy just keep owning me, I lose like 1/2 my life when they hit me, I think I need lightning armor or something.

DFP is this close to worthless in PSU. I can't say this with confidence, but from what I've heard, a 1* armor with 50% in an element will actually reduce the damage you take more than a much higher rarity armor with no element.

I ran about 15 Mad Beasts today and didn't see a single S rank board drop, someone I spoke to had been playing all day and hadn't seen one either.

15 runs isn't a lot but due to other comitments that's about all I can do in a day and at the moment I can only play two days a week. This really isn't a game for people with families or older people who have to work a lot of hours (like me), the amount of time you need to be able to put in is insane.

It probably makes more sense for me to spend my time running those ten minute(ish) lab runs and buy the boards rather than hunt for them. The drop rates don't seem that bad (by PSUs standards anyway) and with so many people hunting them, prices will comes down sooner rather than later.

The only good thing about work stopping me from playing is it means I have money to burn and I'm seriously tempted to buy some Mesetta on ebay.

After my first five runs (four of the solo), I have not found any S-Rank [B]oards yet. I'm not in a hurry to find them... I have two weeks and three player levels to kill until the fire event starts. Besides the Nanopolymer, I have enough materials to make each of the things that I want. I do have a question, though. Can Kubara Wood be put in the [B] Meteor Cannon to make the Meteor Cannoc that is listed in the database? And if so, what does it drop the success % to? The ATP is lower, but there is a crazy massive amount of PP on that sucker.

To my knowledge, it can be substituted. But like with lower rank stuff, only on the ranged weapon boards.

It is true that a low star higher percent elemental armor can out do a high star neutral armor but only against the enemy of that element. While you're greatly reduce the damage of enemies of that element, the others will drag your ass across the floor http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif Not to mention neutral property enemies which can't be reduced by any armor.
People just need to learn the value of high EVP >.>
