Force: fortetecher

how do you access tthe class of foretetecher im a level ten force so i meet the requirements i just talk to the lady in the gaurdians colonly headquarters and i like to use spears and rods is there a better class than that that have those two weapons

only fortetechers can use both spears and rods. But if you're a newman, then your strongest class is fortetecher.

id say make 2 characters, a fortetecher and a fortefighter, so you can excel in both

Or think about going Wartecher. You'll have the melee proficiency to use spears decently, and while you won't be able to cast TECHNICs from rods, you will be able to use wands (and eventually, madoogs).

Then I'm afraid you'll have to choose one or the other. A Fortetecher using spears on a regular basis is pretty God awful.

Being Newman, I'd advise you to go fT and stick to teching.

i gess but sometimes you get to liking close quarters but is it thure skills stays at lvl 1 for foretchers

I'd follow Rashiid's advice and start a new character to be a Fortefighter. Then feel free to switch off as the mood strikes you. I've actually seen a few melee Newmans...I honestly have no idea how they manage to do it. I tried making a Newman HU, and I ran out of patience from getting constantly flattened.

Why it's quite simple my good friend. You must first realize your HP isn't high so dodging is a must. Then after that just level your PAs, buy and make your weapons, and have fun. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I would recommend you switch to hunter at level 10. I switched at level 3 didn't go so well. I mean I didn't die but it was an annoyance.

yeah i like bieng a meelee forece i dont rely on other people healing me so i got magic there to heal

Just don't play Melee fortetecher prefer WT to it (i've already seen someone playing melee fT and was just a dead weight really) . Melee with low dfp hp atp is silly...WT make great tanks with their good hp dfp and lv20 techs

I myself am a fortetecher, and I would just like to say that my forte is, well... teching. As a ForteTecher you only have access to lvl 1 melee skills. So what's the point in that? At close range simply switch to casting Gi techniques or Dam techniques. Oh and dodge a lot too.. heh

Force Limitations:

--LVL20 techs/support
--LVL10 skills
Melee weapons up to C rank

Fortetecher Limitations:

--LVL30 techs/support
--LVL30 bullets
--LVL10 skills
Melee weapons up to A rank; Spear, single dagger, twin dagger, forgot other.

The problem with this is you will not have the ATP to use A rank spears for a VERY LONG TIME(unless you equip a 7* spear). I don't even think a lvl80 FT10 Newman has the ATP to equip.

Trust me..you do not wont to melee as an FT. A Go Vahra will make short work of you so fast. "WTF" wont even reach the roof of your tongue before you're dead in the game.

Be a fortefighter, you are displaying desire to get up close and personal with monsters.
