The new issue of Game Informer (mo' like Lame Informer amirite) has an article about Final Fantasy 14 The Last Remnant, which looks pretty sweet. Sweet enough to buy a 360 to play it on. I just hope it doesn't have random battles. Considering the only shots of battles show fucking huge epic battlefields, I don't think it will.

Yeah with two characters:
One themed towards Japan will be the average happy-go-lucky spikey haired youth.
One themed towards the west is a dark-anti hero called "The Conquerer".

GUESS WHICH ONE LOOKS TOTALLY FRICKIN' LAME.
