Ways to improve PSU

Actually three weeks ago(I think) they said that we had a higher drop rate on our server. And wouldn't PSU be the same as you would say "lacking" game on 360 as on the PC/PS2?

Main complaint:

Word wrap. Word wrap. WORD WRAP. But that has really been a gripe since PSO. Heck, they should just get rid of the bubble chat and just have a log at the bottom of the screen like any other MMO out there.

Minor grypes:
Enemy names definitely. Not nonsense words and silly word plays (IE: De-Ragan=Dragon and Tengohg=Tengu).

Accessories like glasses and hats need to be their own separate thing and not need to be linked to your hairstyle.

More assortment of Beast ears are needed. I want ears like Leo and Laia. Not these spikey webby things.

Things the game could use:
Voice chat on PC and PS2, complete with pitch modulation a-la Xbox Live.

Furniture that you can interact with. And no, I don't mean just sitting down on the floor in the middle of the Cosmo Fountain with your head sticking out.

You act like we're on dialup or something. Only difference between the PC and PS2 is the screen res and a little bit of slowdown when you got six people fighting three Bil de Vears at once.

well look at the bruce mission, it can get SO lagy for us we can barlly move, and i bet they will let us have maybe 8 or 10 people at a time in PVP IF it comes out, and that would almost make the game crash.

And again, what does this have to do with PS2 players? The only differences between it and the PC version are client-side graphics and resources. It would not have any effect on PC players.

Speaking of PVP, I think they should let you pick your factions, and let that determine whether or not you can fight someone. If they did that, I'd so be a freakin' rogue and leave the guardians behind in the dust.

Alcohol that affects your character negatively. Just not as bad as WoW's. That one had that weird game filter that made me feel dizzy and sick. I liked how you never could run in a straight line though. Y'know, something like that.

I think I'm stepping into the fire by saying this but maybe removing SUVs and Nanoblasts? Then there will be less bitching about racial imbalance. And I agree with Mitsu about the race/class choice bashing, I hate it when people criticize me for my Newman Hunter. I remember when this guy was all like "You're a newman, why are you a Hunter?" You get criticized for that? I seen plenty Newman hunters out there. And I don't think there's any sort of imbalance. More of a tradeoff. Newmans have the mad technic skills, after all.

I still think that the abilities are unnecessary, I mean w/ my Beast fF, he's so awesome that I don't use it cuz I feel that I don't even need it, I prefer kicking ass w/ mad martial arts skillz in humanoid form than having to grow 10 feet tall and rely more on brute force.

Challenge mode...man, I HATED Challenge mode. Anything that promotes elitism and stuff like "Beast fF, Newman fT, CAST fG ONLY!!", "USE FIRE ON TEH BERDS!" etc would do the opposite of improving this game.

Where is the option for More Development Time, Larger Budget, Talented Development Team, More competant marketing department, Drops PS2 support in favor of Next Gen, offline mode that's worth the money, higher sever integrety standards, no "unlock content" bullshit, and possibly a return of Rieko and Tohru?

PSU has a lot of problems with it. I really hope this is just the "curse of PS" which plauges releases that are the 3rd of anything. Hopefully Meria's right, and the next PS series which comes out will truely be something amazing. Maybe with a "DreamTeam" development staff consisting of the best talent from PS, PSO, and PSU and a collaboration between WowWorks, Sonic Team, and Naka's new development house. Have Naka, Rieko, and Tohru at the helm directing the whole project.

IMO people who hate PvP have no reason to, there is no reason to bitch and cry because people
want it, its not going to ruin the game especially not for you when your not playing it, not only that
but if ST canceled PvP it would decrease the population ultimately ruining the game, by not having any
people to play with because they have no reason to grind their character when they cant use them

You guys always are so dependent on stats, and not thinking about you actually killing your
oppenent with maybe skill.

God be a good sport if you lose, dont play pvp if your not, you think its not fair because your
inability to win in skill based competition is the main reason why you dislike PvP but none of

Most of you who have issues with PvP just dont play it, stop crying when you lose in a game
(I can picture Sekani throwing his controller at his 360 after losing one time).

Like Bunny Girl sed in another topic "accept failure", in this case accept losing against
somebody else, if your opinion is otherwise and you just dont like PvP why waist your time
argueing with others who want (i will always want pvp nobody can change that)
just to get what you want which has no direction and could decrease the population.

fucking crying and dont do PvP, it is that simple.

Well, the rewards look like a good incentive to do challenge mode, but the elitism still doesn't appeal to me.

The ability to view every party in Gurhal. As it stands, you cannot party without going to a hotspot. You're forced there to get what you need. Instead, you could enter a party, ask if they're camping the mission or roaming to different ones, and leave if they are camping. This will make the game less boring for those who don't care about rewards per second, and the added traffic means that you can get a perfect team in the best rewarding mission.

Also, capes, aquatic styled items (especially room decorations) and swimming.
