View Full Version : Question for JP users: Hirokteri 10* Longbow

According to PSUpedia, there are a bunch of new S weapons available on PSU JP. Does anyone have experience with the 10 star longbow, the Hirokteri?

My friend has the GH 442 Partner Machine, and it uses this bow. It's got a really cool firing effect, and I swear I've noticed splash damage on enemies near the target when it shoots. Found this shot of the thing in action:

The bow is sexy. Can JP players confirm if it does indeed have splash damage? Maybe I'm just crazy.

That bow kicks a lot of ass on my 442. I can't wait till AoI so my GT can use that.

Splash damage is when nearby targets to the impact are hit as well, so if the Hirokteri/the PA the 44X uses has it, it'll hit one target and damage will 'splash' onto other nearby enemies.

It looks like an angel wing bow or something.

like....if you send a koltova flying, then it impacts another one, it would get hit too?

A good example would be... get the handgun ultimate pa, go to lab and trap the mass badira spawn in a corner, then shoot one of them. 2-3 other badira will get damage as well.

No not like that...

I haven't paid too much attention but I always thought the arrow penetrated, I dunno why.

Last I heard, the splash damage effect is a special PA the PM has...like how the GH-441 (?) has that charm effect on her shotgun bullet.

There's a group of enemies like this:

XXXXX

Say you shoot the bolded guy with the bullet...the 2 enemies around him would also be hit...think of the term splash damage like you're throwing a stone into the water, and water splashes things relatively close to where the stone landed.

The splash damage is a property of the PM's shot. That said, there are still a ton of unreleased Bullet arts, one of which could very well be this one.

Splash Damage: Grenade Launcher.

I've heard that the PM is using a UPA, one with splash damage and stun SE :3
I try bribing my PM for the bow almost every day...no luck yet http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_nono.gif

They have many that we don't right now: weapon, PA/Tech, clothes/hair styles. Some we might never get, but, eventually I think we'll get to play with some of what they have.

If you think that is Sexy, wait till the 11* and 12*'s I bet based on their visual design they will make Feathers Fly much like the Halp and I'm sure the bullet effects will be equally gratifying...er...eye candy that is http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Splash damage. . . . . Yummy. I NEED that PA. And they need a splash damage PA for the Cards.

Hmm. . . . theres still no info on what the other Ult PA for the cards does yet, is there?

Ah, that actually makes more sense. I didn't realize that there are more ult bullet PAs. (Which is silly of me; I know there's more skills and technics)

I can't wait for this PA, then. In offline mode, regular bow bullets do a small amount of splash damage, and bows really own.

Thanks to all who've replied ^_^

I've seen that pm use pa(s) with the bow that has knockdown and stun effect. Not sure if it is just one bow bullet pa that can do both unless that 10* bow has its own speical effect.

all S rank bows/cardsrifles/mech guns/pistols/Cannons etc. have a S rank animation when it shoots, reguardless of PA attactched.

in other words: it stays green.

Example: Meteor Cannon, no matter what PA, the laser will still be orange.
