All I know is that the beta ran perfectly on my laptop, and I can run oblivion on medium settings.

If you have a FX 5500 you will have to play PSU on low settings. Processor doesn't matter much. . . .if your card is crap.

Not when compounded with the other stats you gave.

You might be able to run it at...5...6fps?

Well, lets put it this way. My Desktop beats your PC in every way and can BARELY chug along at 10 fps.

Definitely wait for Xmas.

Used decent computers can't be that expensive.

I have a question along these lines. I currently play psu on ps2. Is it possible to put PSU on my pc and provide my sega ID and password and be able to play with my ps2 character?

I myself currently play on both the ps2 and the pc. As for the pc specs im running on a PIII 1 gig with an ATI radeon 9600 with i beleive 128 mb ram might be 256 and on frame skip 1 the game runs as fast as the ps2 version however if i do it on frame skip 2 it runs as fast and as smooth as a high end machine and thats with 1024x768 resolution and all settings at medium

Pentium 3 with 800 mhz, radeon 7500:
Runs with frame skip 3 and lowest graphics settings. Takes a bit longer to load between blocks, too. Doable but not pretty.
