about fomarls?

well i have been out of action for some time..

sorely tempted to buy Gamecube and continue my phantasy star online adventurous.

if i do.. i will play a hucaseal..
but i will also relive my tanking force days.. if possible..

so whats the fomarl like in the new versions, as compared to PSOv2 in dreamcast?..

Well I haven't played a FOmar on my gc version yet but as far as i know they still kick butt. They are the best outta all FO's at casting support techniques and they have the greatest range of casting them.http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Statwise she is practically identical to her v2 counterpart, where's every other class has had stat boosts in practically every area.

Her GC pso max stats are:

HP 1273
TP 1699
ATP 872
DFP 498
MST 1284
ATA 170
EVP 588

She has double range on all support and healing spells and 1.5 extra damage with grants.

Heh bad timing or playing where there are none. Right now that's all I play is my FOmarl. She pretty much plays like the same on PSO v1.

Every FOmarl I've seen on-line has at least been lvl 80+ for FOmarl's semm to be only played by DC vets thus far. Just an opinion and an observation for they seem to know what they are doing as well, heh.

Perhaps it's because FOmarl is weakest(?) of all Forces.

By "weakest," I meant academically. She's actually not weak (hell no), but other Forces are generally stronger. Plus, FOmar is a brand new class, FOnewearl being potentially strongest(?) FO (not my statement but a friend's), and etc.

But give it some time and people will truly realize it is FOmarl who's actually the real bad-@$$ @$$-kicker.

Yes, most FOmarl players I've encountered that are greater than level 80 seem to be Dreamcast veterans.

And the most common FOmarl headpiece I see seems to be the Japanese-style one. My FOmarl may be one of the few that doesn't wear that headpiece.

The FOmarl's bonus to support spells are effective online (mostly of the range bonus), but offline, it's not as useful.

My FOmarl is currently at level 118. I hope to beat Ultimate offline in both Episode 1 and 2 soon. All the Ultimate offline quests are done.

Then, maybe I'll retire PSO. That was one long journey.

The headpiece on a FOmarl is too much. I made my character from my DC the same on my GC. And both times I've nix'd the headpiece. It's a bit too much to me, and seems almost as the default. Instead I just have a ribbon in the back. ^_^
