I been playing RL, and the Linux minigame is frustrating. >_< I'm going back to playing the Pokemon minigame. After I go synth a sandwich and some chips.

It did get canned in '04 when Acclaim went belly up, but Xs bought the rights at an auction, cleaned it up a bit and released it.

It is. I'm quite enjoying it. Hand to hand combat is pretty fun for everyone, especially Makita, who can combo till forever. Gunplay portions of the game are great too, but they're a bit hindered by the weapons not being all that spectacular themselves. Probably the best melding of Streets of Rage type melee + Contra gunplay I've played. Best $20 I've spent recently.



Anything to do with the comic book?

It's based on it, but the character imagery is really all you'll be noticing. The story is there, but I didn't find much to care about. The game's action is the strong point.

PS2 only. Was scheduled for XBOX release but they nixed that. I hear there's a completed version of the XBOX version floating around various sites (the game was finished when Acclaim went under).
