View Full Version : 12 Days of Xmas: PSO Art

Dec 14, 2002, 12:32 AM
It's time for the 12 days of Xmas, PSO style!
I am doing a feature on my website of one new drawing each day, from now until the 25th, to go along with the 12 days of Xmas song. I thought I'd post a couple images here, to see if anyone wants to see the rest. I can place the rest of the images here if I get any positive response.

Where would the song be without the star? Argh, cute...

And on the First Day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me... A RAcast in a pear tree!

Perhaps next year, we should get a bigger tree. Any comments? Don't worry, the rest of the song will probably be just as absurd.

More more!

"A racast in a pear tree!"

Keep going! ^_^

Dec 14, 2002, 04:44 PM
That's just so funny! X'D I want to see the rest!!

Dec 15, 2002, 12:47 AM
Yay! I'm glad you like the days so far, and look foreward to drawing the rest. And now that I have a feedback, they'll all be posted here. Except to break it up or something so it dosn't get to be too much to load, I think I'll put the days after 6 into another post or something.

On the Second Day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me...
Two Pouilly slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree.
Hmm. Festive AND moist, what more could you ask for?

Dec 15, 2002, 01:11 PM
Hahaha those Pouilly slimes are excellent.
Sonic team should put them in as a rare monsters during christmas, and if you kill one they drop a present such as a rare item.

Dec 15, 2002, 01:23 PM
Awwww^___^, kute pics^o^!!!

Dec 16, 2002, 12:35 AM
On the Third Day of Xmas, my Love Rappy gave to me...
3 Nar Lillies, 2 Pouilly Slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree!

And some presents should STAY tied up with bows.

Hehe, not so tough with your mouth shut, eh Nar Lilly!

Dec 17, 2002, 09:51 AM
roflmao! That is absolutely hilarious. Keep it up. This may even be better than the REdneck 12 days of Christmas.

Dec 18, 2002, 01:13 AM
Argh! It missed a day. The fourth day was quite hard to think up, but here it is. Well, they're big, hairy, blue, and can reach the star onto the top of the tree. And they bounce too. For anyone that has seen this Xmas special show, the similarity was just too much to resist. (and I figure, that by now the whole planet has seen it) So...I give you:

On the fourth day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me...4 Leaping Blues, 3 Nar Lillies, 2 Pouilly Slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree. (and...Ukon Cornelious?! Uh oh...)

Dec 18, 2002, 03:25 AM
Hahaha... why am I suddenly reminded of the barbarian from D2 due to the 'Blues in the background? ^_^;;

On the Fifth day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me Fiiiive golllden things, four leaping Blues, three Nar Lillies, two Pouilly Slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree.

This will be the last post to this posting thread, as it is getting to be a whole lot to load on one page over a 56 modem. (which I have) I don't want the theme to bore people in waiting, or break the board or anything, so days 6-12 will be in a different post with a similar name. Also: yes I know it's still a day behind, but I hope to be able to put up two images tomorrow to fix that.

And where would the holidays be without some cool weps? And, of course, a Sonic reference.

The topic got a second page, which means it won't overload anything with images to just post the rest here. Convenient.

On the Sixth day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me...
Six Rappies a Laying.

The cute content of this image is waaaay too high. Non-androids should brush teeth after viewing.

Thanks for all the great comments I've been getting on this thread everyone! I hope you are enjoying the days so far, and this encourages me to make the rest. Here is the catch-up day, so now it is up to date.

On the Seventh day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me...Seven boxes spinning.

And this is the kind of box you want to find under the tree!

Yes yes, todays' is slightly bland. But I am mad! I was megid'd by an Ob Lilly and my Love Rappy ran away. It was the first time I'd seen one. I was also megid'd before I could kill a Mill Lilly, and I had an item h00r steal the HP/Revival off a Pal Rappy. Being from Bluefull, useful rares are nearly impossible for me to find, and 3 chances slipping away is more irritating then I can say.

Dec 20, 2002, 01:12 PM
ack! megid bad luck >.<

Still nice, just hope those red boxes aren't varistas >_>

Dec 20, 2002, 01:36 PM
Man, you're creating a legendary Xmas song that will remain in our hearts till the day there will be no more PSO or no more Xmas... that means never! HAHA! XD Very nice pics and original lyrics, you're almost done! Don't give up!

Ah, day 8, Plot-hole day! I knew that 8 ships a flying would be perfect for this day, but trouble arose when I realized that no one actually knew what they looked like. Sure, you see the main colony ship in the Opening Sequence, but what about all the little ships we play on?

So...here are 8 ships that they're guarenteed NOT to look like. That is not a string, that is a special effect! Also note: Vega, home to many "SSJ Dorkman" characters, looks a whole lot like one of Freezas' army ships from DBZ.

On the Eighth day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me, Eight ships a flying, seven boxes spinning, six Rappies laying, five golden things, four Leaping Blues, three Nar Lillies two Pouilly slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree.

Thanks BWS-1, and everyone who has something to say, I'm glad everyone is enjoying the song, I'm having fun makeing it up, although some days it is a challenge. (and I've come up with a few bloopers too, which I may post later)

Way, way underestimated the difficulty of this day. Skipped PSO to complete it too...argh. Still not happy with the quality but, d'oh!

But here's to the under-appriciated medical staff of Pioneer 2. (After all, there's no where cheaper) The nurses seem so happy, but I guess you'd have to keep a good sense of humor with all the wacky things people die of down on the surface.

Hello Ms. Pretty Nurse, and thanks for the cheap clip of traps!
Hmm...one of those nurses sure looks familliar...

(Nurse Joy from Pokemon...she's a running gag, in that there are many of her, and they all look the same--or is there just one...?) I hope they make a different sort for PSO, if there is a sequel, so that it does not become PSO's joke as well.

Dec 23, 2002, 11:52 PM
On the Tenth day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me 10 Mags a beeping, 9 nurses healing, 8 ships a flying, 7 boxes spinning, 6 rappies laying, 5 golden things, four leaping blues 3 Nar Lillies, two Pouilly Slimes and a RAcast in a pear tree. (whew)

Dec 24, 2002, 11:37 PM
On the Eleventh day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me 11 Chat Symbols!

(yes, there's a Hanuka symbol in there, but this is a multi-holiday song now. Also, that is supposed to be a wreath and santa's sleigh. Symbol chat "face parts" are not the most expressive things to choose)

Dec 27, 2002, 12:57 AM
On the Twelfth Day of Xmas my Love Rappy gave to me 12 types celebrating!
All the different kinds of PSO people having fun at the holidays. What could be more in the spirit of the season?

Big image for the day, but what a way to end the song. That's me in purple in the back there! I'm particularly happy in this picture, can't you tell?

From the left, FOmar Adin, HUnewearl Jenase (Missing in Action), RAmar Skyy, RAmarl, HUcast JetPlatinum, FOmarl IcePop (MIA), FOnewearl ChibiChuChu, FOnewm Malinko, HUcaseal SilverX, RAcast NiuBalkrye, RAcaseal Zora, HUmar Del.

Happy holidays everyone, from my team to yours, and best wishes for the new year! Have Fun and hope you liked the song!

Now that is a great finale. Hehe, cheers to AzureBlaze for reinterpreting an old classic. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
