well ive decided to give it another go and play the game more as i feel that i may be hooked anyways.

But i have a few questions...

I am a Level 17 Hunter, and i recently changed from being a Force but what i want to know is..

1.Where is the best place to level at lv 17?

2.How do u get good money? Because when i changed i had 12k and i spent it on a double saber and a phonton art for it, and i also bought another double saber for 8k which i can use when im lv 19.But at the moment every bit of money i get i seem to spend on dimates or photon charges http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif .

Help much apreciated!!

2. For offline moneyz I assume The relics in east-holtes. O_o You can get like 30k in 10 mins.

player shops can help alot if you sell your items for a decent price. as far as lvl the only hot spot if you dont have a group of friends to lvl with is crimson beast as everyone whores that mission to death. and dont always try and get the best stuff right away or early on as it wont help all that much and youll need the money later on when you get into the 9* stuff if your on the ps2/pc version they tend to be an average of 200k to 400k for low to mid lvl elemet %"s

Huh... that's weird. O.o

I don't see how it's possible to use a double saber at only lv19... took me until lv38 to use mine... as a CAST.

Plus, how'd you get Double Sabers for so cheap!?

Why would you think he was offline? Nothing in his posts points to that, in fact, his topic is "Decided not to cancel game"....if he was offline, there would be nothing to cancel.

Anyhow, for the OP, find a party of like level characters. If you work together with a pick up group during the lower levels, you will advance much faster and spend less per mission.

What planet is the crimson beast mission on?

im pretty sure he means twin saber, since he says he only had 12k when he switched, and bought the weapon and photon art...but the photon art for double sabers is 18k, so thats not possible.

anyways, for leveling, it say either of the relic missions, or moatoob, and for raising your mission points, maybe bruce's dungeon if you can get a party?

making money is really just about repeating missions a lot. try crimson beast C ranks over and over to get the mission reward

Its on Parum. Mad Creatures -> Plains Overlord -> Crimson Beast. Don't burn yourself out though. There are lots of good missions that will give great MP to lower level characters. Eastern Peril, and Dual Sentinel to name a couple if you can find someone to run them with you.

A good way to make money quickly is to earn just enough money to buy an Open Shop ticket (Variety Shop, 2nd floor of the Guardians Colony, first door on the right. The tickets cost 15K) and open a shop. A lot of people create alts just to act as "shopkeepers", I recommend doing this or an alt that you don't play all that often.

After that, make a couple of Linear Line C runs to gather up as many elemental photons as you can and sell those in your shop. (If you plan on participating in Operation Firebreak, hold on to your Ban-Photons, though..you'll be able to trade those in for certain items) You could also go on the missions others have recommended above and sell the elemental photons that drop on those missions.

A good starting price for elemental photons (the neutrals you can buy in the NPC stores, so I don't recommend selling those any higher than half the NPC price) is somewhere around 10K, though I've seen them as cheap as 5K. However, the price should be only as high as you think fair for other players. The only ones that don't sell well are Megi-Photons because they drop so often in LL. OTOH, Ban-Photons, Zon-Photons, Di-Photons, Gra-Photons, and especially Ray-Photons sell quickly. The best way to sell these is in "packets" of 5.

You can also sell weapons and armour that you don't need anymore/can't equip and don't want to feed to your PM. However, unless they can't be bought in the NPC stores, I recommend selling those (as well as other items that can be bought from NPCs, such as Dimates) at 50% of the NPC unless they're grinded up beyond three times (the usual number of times you can grind something safely) or are elementals. Depending on the elemental percentage, you can typically sell elemental weapons or armour for the NPC price or even slightly higher, especially if it's a weapon that has been grinded to 4+. (In the case of armour, I would check the item database first to see if the armour is elemental by default, i.e., Stellaline has the Lightning property by default)

Finally, if you're not sure how much to sell something for, use the database of NPC store prices (http://www.pso-world.com/items/psu-store-prices/). Speaking for myself, if I see a Dimate being sold for the NPC price or higher, I don't bother with the rest of the shop.

Hope this helps!

That photon thing will only work on PC/PS2 due to the duped Meseta present on their servers.

If you're on 360, trying to sell photons for 10K will be fruitless.

D'oh! You're right...apply however much the going rate for Photons is on the 360.

I still think opening a player shop is a good idea, though...you'll still earn more money than relying on the missions alone.
