Hmmm, so does one run = 1 point?

Or say, would a 6 man party completion = 1 point, or would you get 1 point for each person and get a total of 6 for that run?

I think it may be based on mission points? not sure... I'm sure no 18,000 people have completed Neudaiz runs in the last hour.

Then don't complain if you get neither the frypan or the shopping spree, or the 7 days of luck after the event.

To a few posts above, points are generated on a one to many. For every monster you kill, you get *some* points, not 1:1. For every core you purify, even more points. For every mission completed, more points. And this value is also multiplied per player in party too.

That said, combining the x360 servers with the PS2/PC servers' point totals seems to have a downside... Your goal to reach, in order to unlock the frypan option is 50 million... In fact, they upped all your conditions.

Comparison of JP > EN

Parum: 25 million > 40 Million.
Neudaiz: 10 million > 20 million
Moatoob: 15 million > 20 million

I thought everyone on the server gets the spoils if we reach the goal number. Is this not true?? I hope it's not true, because then those who don't run the missions do not get rewarded.

1. Everyone does get the reward, but since it's a combined effort, I'm just saying those who didn't bother helping, forfeit the right to complain about the event end result.

2. That might just be true, seeing as the US servers despite their downsides do things in unique ways that the JP would never think of. But to confirm what you just said, let's wait until the end result http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

JAFO22000

Concerning your number 2 above, I say "True" to that! I have a sinking feeling that this will be popular for about a week, then people will go back to hunting S ranks again....

DurakkenX
May 25, 2007, 10:56 AM
they raised our requirements because we have such a large population and have shown in the past that we're going to do these events? Sega does another stupid move and wonders why we hate them ^.^

JAFO22000
May 25, 2007, 11:03 AM
They probably raised the requirements after seeing how the JP servers met the requirments with a huge push at the end, due to missions with high payout. They probably wanted to make the rewards harder to accomplish in an attempt to get more people to play these missions. The rewards they are giving are pretty great if you ask me....not something that should be given out for nothing, rather something that should be earned by all.

I have a feeling that we won't meet the requirements and all who DIDN'T participate will start whining. I feel the only way to meet these numbers is to have EVERYONE working on these missions. Hunt for S ranks afterwards with your week of 3 star luck! They will still be there.

AND, if you hunt for S ranks while this mission is going on, then get all of your S ranks, don't come back here and complain about there being no new content....

"Clear the five required fire contamination missions, then report your results to the Firebreak trading post to receive PA fragments as your reward.

Even if you have already received a reward, you can clear the five missions again and report your results to receive PA fragments as many times as you want."

So far, I've only tested out 2 different fire missions on Neudiz. Are the other 3 scattered on other planets? So idealy for rewards. Ppl should NOT keep spamming the 1st Neudiz mission since that'll come in time anyways?

Instead, we should all rotate between all 5 missions back to back. Then break to get PA frag at Guardian counter. Then repeat, no? All this and the purification % should all be more evened out through out the planets, right?

If you don't complete all 5 missions back to back, does this still count?
For example, CAN you do?:
1st mission x10
2nd mission x10
3rd mission x 5
4th mission x 5
5th mission x 1 (get PA frag from G. counter)
5th mission x 1 again (get PA frag from G. counter). etc...

Does this go for C-A difficulty? So now even our low lvled characters could earn PA frags themselves?

That won't work. The moment you turn it in, it clears all the flags. It does note how many times you've cleared it, rank and excess clearances raise the chance you get 10 frags; since it is a random number between 1-10 that you get.

That said, yes, low level characters can do this too.

about 4 hours = 800,000 points, this is taken from an aproximation between 11am and 3pm est

basically this means 400hours to reach target of 80,000,000 and 250hours to reach 50,000,000.

that's roughly 2 weeks...if the current pace keeps up this will be easy

Xbox 360 is universal for Japanese and US players. PC/PS2 is either US/Euro or Japanese.

The PC/PS2 Japanese servers had the event, the other servers follow the US timetable.

In a way that's a good thing, Parum gets 2 good missions in about 2 weeks and people will be spamming them for S-ranks and money so the points there will increase largely.

Neudaiz and Moatoob are both the primary targets.

considering that the points you get determine your rank...

to get points on

Parum(Burning Garden) = Time. The number of creatures you kill does not matter. Only that you finish this within a specific time

Moatoob = kills. The amount of time left does not matter for this one, as long as you kill as many mobs as possible.

The other 3 i cant remember the end mission thing so i cant tell you want they require for points.

I'm over at Rafflon right now. I've been trying to crack Burning Garden A; the parties I've been running with haven't gotten B yet, much less S.

It's kind of dishearteninig to get C-ranks on Burning Garden A all the time. (Are you guys sure that even 0-point C rank results count towards purificaiton? It would really suck trying to hammer BG A all the time and never make a difference in Parum's score.)

It's kind of sad; half the parties running are doing Burning Garden. The other half are doing Plains Overlord, with the obvious implications of where they're going and what they're planning on doing.

Geez~ they try "everything" in their power to get people off Parum in the past and now they want us to go rushing back after a single day? What do they want from us?

Where do you go to trade mission completion points for frags anyway?

I like the Parum missions but I'll be leveling my alt in the Moatoob purification for the first while at least.
Also: don't they sell the same cast parts on all planets? CASTS FOR THE WIN ON CLOTHING DISCOUNTS... you neudaiz guys rock on.

Go to the GUARDIANS HQ on the 5th floor of Clyez City. Select the trading mission from Mina and you'll be taken to Bruce who will let you trade Ban-photons for items or you can report your rank to him and he'll reward your with PA Fragments accordingly. This morning, I managed to get 10. Made me very happy since it brought me a bit closer to getting a new TECHNIC.

Well Firebreak is up and running what does everyone think it does for PSU. I see a big jump in Population. Which tells me that Sega needs do more like this. I personelly like it. It is a great change from grinding the runs for the rare boards we all want. Plus a cool Frying pan too!

Okay, so I took my own thought and worked on it today. I'm almost 100% sure that the prize for us will be the frying pan. The SWF referenced that URL, but added _en tags to it:

The main .SWF also states 'will be distributed after the event concludes'.
