Do deaths still effect mission rank in Firebreak missions?

I could have sworn I did a mission with deaths, but they weren't tallied. But, I may be mistaken so I want to make sure.

The moatoob mission doesn't count deaths, 4 of my teammates died their and we still got a S. I dont know about the others though.

None of them care about deaths.

neudaiz deaths dont count either, like 3 people died on our team.
