Today, my Nova and three other fortegunners S ranked it multiple times. Nice to brag about since many ppl come nowhere near it.

The party consisted of:

A Female human fortegunner, lv76( Nova in her bathing suit)
2 Male Cast Fortegunners, both lv80
and 1 Female Cast Fortegunner, lv69

Dark Shot, Frozen shot and twin freeze dominated blk 1 and 2. Everyone was spamming this, it was awesome.
Good luck with those blk3 Vandas hunter parties! Keep trying, it won't hurt.... much.

Reward is 22000 Meseta, 110MP.

Here was the strategy, 4 gunners, have one of them use Dark Shot lv+21. Once one Vanda/Zoona is infected, work on another to infect. The other 3 will spam the holy hell out of Frozen Shot lv21+ or Twin Freeze lv+21. Each Vanda has roughly 16000HP, so it was an insane amount of damage being done throughout that mission. Save all traps till blk3, when you fight the charged Bil de Vears and Vandas. only use only 1 or 2 traps per vanda group.

personally, i just spammed the hell out of my newly grinded guns and threw silence and freeze traps on vanda groups - and on the vil de bears used maylee fury after hitting with virus trap. the other guys dont post much here i think. nevertheless it was gouk's first run at it. funny he didnt know whether or not we were doing well.

Is there a final kill number? I guess you groups that got an S on A difficulty could have a go at C difficulty, just to slaughter your way through. Oh, would you be so kind as to do such a thing? The heads I roll with are all scattered level wise, so a good A run is just NOT gonna happen, but I did find a random party that was doing a B run and we whooped it!

As long as you can get to the bridge? in the middle of blk3, I think you get your S rank.

Wiki says infinite, but VERY few people actually managed to complete it. 2% of the people who played there got that far. In a sense, trying to do so isn't even worth it, because of the huge amounts of traps you have to burn to kill that fast.

In fact, people keep mistaking me for goku in-game. No really, I haxed myself up some dragonballs and just WISH for us to beat the mission. Works everytime.

Just tried tis mission with Dragwind, Hyacia and Hikaru... Fuck its hard... Really showed me why Wartechers aren't the best class to have in a party with Foretechers XD (its okay though, I can always switch to Figunner or Fortefighter for Party missions right? Nope, don't have a50% Ice wep, meaning I'm totally useless lol XD )

Fortetechers only dominate blk3. Blk1 and 2 they are average in where gunners are superior. The charged Vandas and Vil de really slow down a gunner team, takes a lot of teamwork to do properly.

Twin Freeze, Frozen Shot, Barta, Rabarta are the best stuff to use here. Keep trying, you'll cut off seconds every time you do this run. High lv PA's are a must. My lv30 barta can hit Vandas for 1000 with STC.

On a side note, Shigga Bines(9* shotgun) has a decent chance of dropping here. 4 of them were seen during these first 2 days of Firebreak,

Abby - lvl 80 newomen - Guntecher lvl 10 - primarily used phantom (ice shot), frezze/burn traps, beam vulcanic (mayalee fury) and thunder cannon (frozen prism, mayalee prism)

nanogirl - lvl 80 newomen - fortetecher lvl 10 - primarily used shifta, retier, and rabarta

Jess - lvl 80 beastgirl - fighgunner lvl 10 - primarily used 20% deva-zashi, deathmaker (twin freeze), 30% ice bone dance, some other weapons I'm not familiar w/... oh and she used the ATP nanoblast

Bagel Man - lvl 80 beastmonstra (male http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif ) - fortetecher lvl 10 - primarily used gur misial (riga bullet), phantom (ice shot), drumline (mayalee fury), virus traps and he also used the ATP nanoblast

Hmm i know at least 2 people in my team had not so good armors. i had a 26% fire phantomline(no body slot for mega/rainbow) and it makes the hildebears really scary when they can kill you in 2 hits xD

On Parum you have to purify all the SEED cores within the time limit. On Moatoob you have to kill 130 or more enemies before time runs out. On Neudaiz you have to purify all the SEED cores before you finish the mission.

On Neudaiz though it's almost impossible to NOT get an S-rank, so it's basically a license to print meseta. Little surprise that the planet is over 30% complete after only two days.


To everyone else: I'm not the biggest fan of either SATAarcoeny or Cherry & Co., but all the hate isn't necessary. For once we're all on the same team, and their e-peens are working to our advantage.

You only get an S no matter what for the first Neudaiz one. The one after that you need to just do one extra Seed core (need 3 people) and you get an S.

For Parum's S ranks (2nd easiest to get), you have to purify all of the SEED cores in under 2:30 for the first mission. And 9:00 for the 2nd mission (The 2nd mission, we took the right path and got finished in about 7 minutes).

i think a high % ice spear and dus daggas is best for them. 600x4 per swing is the best a fortegunner can do on them. must save all traps for the hildebears u_u;

I'll agree with you on the Bil De though, the spear PA is useful for them.

That was easily the worst run I ever had. Everyone has an extreme BS run like that sometimes...

All the previous times I shotgunned the buffed vandas I didn't die nearly as often. But yeah, I'm done shotgunning like crazy in block 3. All the dodging necessary when there's a bunch of charged vandas makes machineguns more damaging. Only if there's like one of them (or maybe two if it's safe) will I point a shotgun at them now. Personally I believe an ideal party isnt at all 1 fortetecher and 3 fortegunners, contrary from what most ppl have said on PSU. If you want to make it anywhere in blk3, you need a fighter.

600x4 in less than 2 secs is nothing? i dont know what your friend was doing but its really easy to hit 2 of them lol, i was doing it almost every time i used it during our run. you wont outdamage that with bullets.

Yep, this is total ignorance. i was the only fortegunner when we got our 178 score. You can get S rank on this with any classes really. i think more than 1 fortegunner is bad if you want high scores tho.

Swan went for the seed pods while we killed mobs. I just used the same spells I usually do on Parum. Gibarta, some Dambarta when they were all clustered together, Nosdiga, and my bow on the flyers. Swan wasn't even 80 and didnt have any ice weaps over like 20% either and we beat it no problem.

With a pile of gunners(and 3 is is sufficient) the DOT stacks like pancakes and no one is getting clobbered(and I'm getting silenced like every 4 seconds >_>) + ice shots/shock shots work well here too, not just traps.

I get your argument though. Yes - piling on more of one class isn't always good.

that team that got 173 had the same classes as my team, 1 fortegunner as well.
also.. i barely used PAs that cause status effects at all during the whole run =O

The meseta hole was closed MONTHS ago, so much so that now a days you see 50% weapons and even A units selling (or rather NOT selling) in player shops for as "little" as 35 million. A price that back in January would have been considered a bargain. And today they don't even sell.

Also, the Xbox people DO have 50% weapons and they DO have +10 weapons as well. Probably in less quantity, but how many 50% weapons do you think we needed to complete this mission? Exactly: 2. 1 spear for the fighter, and 1 spear for the gunner. That's it! As the hunter, I did use 27 photon charges in the run, having to borrow from the other members who consume less pp, but even the cost of these is covered by the meseta reward of the mission

In terms of Techer arsenal, cherry had spent months saving wands to be ground on the day grinder As were released and so she had a few +10s, which she borrowed to Rosara and cherry actually used Wgracros+10 (B rank 6*) wands! So again, I don't think this is really unattainable by Xbox folks.

Did it with a Fortetecher(me) 2 Fortegunners and 1 Fortefighter. Both gunners were packed to the gills with traps, I carried a few for them too.

Gunner 1 had a Gur Napam and light shot all the vandas onto the wall and kept them knocked back. He stood at an angle, keeping them in a corner. And confused, so they stayed in a nice clump, fighting eachother.

Gunner 2 kept them DoT-ing with burn shot. Yes, burn. It goes faster. Gunner 2 occasionally switched to a shotgun with freeze shot to point blank things for massive damage & clean up the Navals.

Me the Techer unleashed Dam Barta upon their arses. I didn't really freeze them too often, so I didn't undo the burn being inflicted on them. But doing 900 per regular hit with Dam Barta was nice. Buff priority:
Shifta -> Retier -> Zodial. Didn't bother w/Deband.

Forte Fighter took advantage of the cornered saps and spammed the axe PA like noone's beeswax.
