Take a look at the Japanese Fire break site. They have a graph showing points earned over time.

As you can see once the two missions with lvl 100 monsters we available on Parum the line shot up more than Al Gore's Carbon emmissions graph. So if you guys want to help out stop doing Parum missions and do C runs of the Moatoob mission.

Level 100 Monsters?
What level do you need to be to do that? ><;

Wow, I guess I can stop worrying about the fate of Parum if that graph is any indication...

I think you have to be 65 or 55

Well... I should get leveling...

Golto

Lvl 65 for the good mission that has many different enemies that drop srank weapon/armor boards. 3 new srank boards for us.

So... in order to brag about how much better we are than the Japanese so-called elite, we have to break 200 mil overall while having less than half as many people?

RegulusHikari
May 26, 2007, 07:38 PM
What three S ranks are those exactly? I'm pretty sure the Gudda Skela is included in there cuz my friend won't shut up about it. @_@

Golto
May 26, 2007, 07:43 PM
10* knuckle, 10* tenora armor board, and 10* single claw are the 3 new srank boards.

Another reason why Parum is doing so bad now is that a lot of teams aren't scoring that many points because they are doing A ranks and scoring 0. Its all about the points you earn from the mission, not mission points or mission difficulty rank. If you get a bunch of people doing cranks of Moatoob you will see a large increase in %.

Yeah, that Burning Garden mission is tough. You ain't gonna just walk through that one and get a guaranteed S rank like you would in Crimson; that sucker actually takes some coordination.

Personally, my groups lost the most time at the Vitaces and Gol Dolvas. I don't think we had anyone delivering DoTs, which would explain why they took us as long as they did. Of course, that was before I went PT... I intend to make full use of my traps.

Of course, nice thing about Burning Garden is that the rewards are great even if you fail to get an S rank. It's not one of those "WE'RE GONNA GET AN A, JUST RESTART" deals. They really made it worth continuing to invest effort even if you know you're not going to get a perfect score.

Siertes
May 26, 2007, 08:33 PM
I thought Burning Garden was a bit tough, until I took the left path. I always thought the right path was the...well...right path.

Left path is so much easier, We easily got below 8:00 minutes multiple times, and the team wasn't even that well organized/planned out.

My friends and I have started to work today on Parum, first run took 10 minutes, next eight runs took about 7 minutes each (and after every one, 5 extra minutes playing with the photon erasers lol), 300 points, 5 players, thats 1500 points a run, the Parum counter barely changed in the time we have been playing...

May 26, 2007, 11:40 PM
it should prolly be pointed out that parum became popular at about the time the total was at 40mil...

I think Parum will skyrocket when the S ranks come out. Also the missions aren't that hard but you NEED people to use traps and you NEED to split into 2 teams. Just doing some runs we managed to coordinate it pretty well although it took 2 runs before we got the hang of it. We didn't even have really high leveled people but those of us around the lower end 45-50 or so handled the seed while the higher levels took down the enemies.

This means that it's good that Neudais is being completed first. Since Neudais won't be having any
of the S rank goodness, it'll be left in the dust once the new missions take light.

So we'll have to finish Neudais or else it won't get finished at all! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Fixed. Don't forget about us ;_;

Neudiaz will still get some play due to ban-photon farming but Moatoob will be a ghost town like it usually was before the event once we get those last 2 parum missions.

Why does moatoob matter so much? once everyone realises that the 10* knucks drop on the new missions there it will be the new mad beasts imo.

The knuckles will drop on the new Parum mission, not on Moatoob. There likely won't be any new missions on Moatoob.

Wait, shouldn't we focus on getting neudaiz finished? And then focus everyone on Mot, then finally Parum?

Candor
May 27, 2007, 10:11 AM
People are going to continue doing Neudaiz missions at this rate even after it's purified, shouldn't have to worry about it at all.

I think the point is that Neudaiz is (and most likely will) be completed because it's so easy, and then everyone will flock to Parum once the new missions come out. The way it is now, a large majority of the population is on Neu, and that large majority will be shifting to Parum soon, leaving Moatoob where it is right now: an afterthought.

There's just no discernable reason for people to do Moatoob really, which is why I don't believe it'll ever be completed. I'm quite sure Neudaiz will be, and Parum will be in due time, but once people realize that Moatoob isn't, and isn't even close, there'll be a mad rush near the end to finish it, but I just don't think it'll happen...

Well let's see. If Moatoob don't get done when Parum 100 comes out, you can kiss that "reward" goodbye. Cause it wont be completed.

You are correct. On the JP version, the goal for neudaiz was only 10 million. Even after it was purified, neudaiz CONTINUED to get more points than moatoob each day.

I'm kind surpirsed Parum is so low.

2 mins and 30 second for how much meseta? 0r the second mission which is 16.8k meseta for 9:30?

Alpha-Hunter
May 30, 2007, 04:13 PM
and that's not even counting the great MP's!

but on another note what does a guy have to do to get an S rank sword! Knuckles and more claws...?!

Its not that the current rewards are bad, its that the future rewards are far better. The rest of us are biding our time and helping the two planets that are really going to need it later on.

Well Neudiaz is on its way to being 100% by Friday or maybe even Late Thursday. I hope most of the people only doing Neudiaz will then go to Moatoob when that happens.
