i know this has probably been asked a lot but i have done research and i cant find it. i just want a simple answer, please dont flame this.

if you have a gold pass for xbox 360 do you still have to pay the $10 monthly fee?

Yes.

You don't need the gold account though, a silver one would work just fine.

Yes you do, but you can still play PSU on a silver account.

hmm well i was planing on getting a gold pass anyways, when i get my 360, but i dont want to pay $10 a month for it...

There's no way around it, if you want to play PSU online. Being that its service is completely separate from Xbox Live, the Xbox Live Gold membership will not cover any of it. Just like FFXI.

The only difference is PSU is worth the money FFXI isn't worth paying a penny for, yea i know off topic.
