Hey guys (+ gals http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif),

Just went back on PSU.. went to a 3star server as informed(in the starting planet/place.. university??? w/e), and headed straight to the missions room, on my way, only found bout 10 people???

Is PSU really a popular game, how busy are the PC/PS2 servers REALLY? Is PSU as busy as PSO on the DC or not...? Are there 1000s of users? 1000000? or 100s?

Just wondering cuz i wana know how many people really go on the servers (heck, i am paying £84 a year...lol)

ty in advance... and btw, oh yes, i'm now a lvl 3 Male Human.... (I'm getting there... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif)

PC/PS2 is less populated than 360 version.
360 has uni1-2 filled up almost all the time with uni3 about half filled.
PC/PS2 has uni1-2 filled with 1 or 2 stars barely.
ON PC/PS2 there are probably only about 100 players. Maybe less.

I think there is more than 100 but yeah it is kind of low.

Eh actually, a little more.

A 1/2 * = 1-99 people
A * = 100-199 people
A * and 1/2 * = 200-299 people.
A ** = 300-399 people

Etc., etc.

So if the PC/PS2 population is usually 3*, then 600 people are online.

nope

Uni 2 has 3 or 4 Stars, not one or two. Each Star Equals 200 so theres usually 600-800 ONline Players in Universe 2.

There's also scaterred Clans and soloers in all the other Universes, the number of them can't be found, but there's anywhere from 1 to 199 ppl in all other 17 Universes ( but realize, its One to 199, and you can guess that the numbers of player in the 17 hollow universes ISN'T 199 lol )

The server has 37,000 Accounts now though ( how many of those have quit and wont come back is unknown ), so come AoI I'm hopping to see more of those accounts online T_T...

Though... 37,000 Players, 100 Players, 700... Doesn't really matter as long as you can get 5 ppl in a party max lol

Its no all that bad. When PSOX got started, the most I ever saw was a little over a thousand. Over the years the community dropped off to ~70 even at peak. Oddly enough, that's when I met most of my good PSO friends who have now become my good PSU friends. The size of the population doesn't matter all that much. Its just the kind of people you associate with.

welcome to the game!
I'm kinda interested if you joined PC why your number is.... to get an idea of how many people in the game
don't say it publicly because your number is your ID number
get in game, hit CTRL 3 times til you get a number, and PM me the number after a bunch of 0s. If you're wondering that's the total number of people registered when you registered, and also your ID number which is linked to all that you do.

Say it publicly, who cares.

In addition to a small population boost, Operation: Firebreak has also had another effect on the PC/PS2 population: you can finally find parties everywhere, not just Raffon Lakeshore! Players have really spread out to all three planets, and I've noticed renewed interest in the regular missions too, not just the Firebreak ones.
