So what do you think the Aura Garmets are worth now on the various systems, 360/PS2-PC

I thought it was Hilarious, when I first went online after the update and did a player shop search (360) and found Aura Garmets for 375K and the like......and I even went to this one guys shop to look at it (not buy http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif ) and it wasn't even there so I went back to my room and the shop owner followed me and said, "Were you just in my room for the Aura Garmet?"...Yeah, but their wasn't one in your shop..."Well I'll go put another one in there for you to buy, Hurry before it sells again"....Ok, bye!

http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif Riiiight!, Like I'm that dumb! I've been saving Bans forever Naturally, and even before rumors of the event.....so I went straight to the Clyez city Guardians to get mine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Quite happy with it too http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif...sorta like http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif that everyone will be wearing one too no doubt...but I will Never get bored/tired of looking at that thing so really...don't even care.

But what are people able to sell those things for now anyways? 50K....10K.....Can they even sell them at all http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.....I mean, After only a couple missions I got 15 Bans....so....and I also used up my stock piles (presents of 99 bans) and bought plenty of Garmets....

I just find it amuzing.....guess I should have put mine in my shop for 1K a pop like everyone else http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif....could have made an easy couple 100K http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

EDIT: and to explain further, the reason I will never get bored of those animations is I have a screensaver called Firestorm that depects the same type of flames only on the whole computer screen...it's quite awesome actually, I can change the flame colors and add fireworks and etc...

I sell the Ban-Photons because these idiots are actually too lazy to go run a few Heat Wave Island runs and rack up the things in no time. Not my fault they're so rich and stupid.

Profit off laziness, indeed.

haha its so true. i cant believe i had a lvl 1 come up to me today and asked me for money. then i was like sorry i dont even have a million to share between for characters. they then went on and said : what uve got 785793K!?!?! lol i was like yeah thats 785k get ur decimal places rite... then someone was nice enough to give them stuff and they knew how to trade like that! not to mention they knew how to check all my stuff out lol. so in fact it was just someone who made a new character to mooch. which i cant stand. there id was like in the 30k range. which means they arent that new. i really cant believe how much ppl think they are getting away with. and they wonder why some ppl dont help them. some of us were here when the game was released.... when there really was no content and 10 was a damn lot of money.

2 minute for first mission neudaise. ~7(?) mp for C rank. 14 for B rank.

99 Ban photons under 4 hours...

zombie players > lazy gamers

Lol, D.j. We got Bans a LOT faster than that. Try an hour or two, and you can have a full stack. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

And, yes, it's 7 mp.

...wOW! sO Technically, you could get around 100K for an Aura Garmet by Idiots/Lazy turds...in under 4 Hours...Hmmmm.....I guess I'll still go with Seabed for the Cash but that is a nice Alternative http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I guess you can still make a profit off it afterall...kinda blows my mind really.....people will never learn http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.....good for Us Business Men/Women/Beast-Neuman-Humans http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

XD Since you're basically purifying the planet at the same time, you're killing multiple birds with one lil stone >3

pebble (c rank first mission neudais) kills > Ban photon hunt, purification points, MP for starter classes, time (approx. 2 minutes)

I guess you're right. With the way it was, we were getting 2-6 ban photons a run.

Haha.. the days when 10k was alot of money... I remember breaking my only 2 hajirods and wanting to start a new character cause I couldn't afford to make more to replace them. then I realized it'd take more money to start a new character and went to mizuraki defense c and hunted neu wood till like 4 am...

I actually went to check some shops while reading this, I saw a shop list an aura garment for 2 mil, another for 8 mil, another for 1 mil, and yet another for 10 mil. I'm on ps2/pc.. and I know we have quite a bit of extra money floating around, but these prices are just ridiculous.

Makes me wonder if these'll be worth anything once AoI comes out, since there's most likely going to be a wave of new players and they won't be available. (hehe, gathers ban photons till end of event continually cashing in for more aura garments to trade for rares later) <.< what... I can scheme can't I? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

First day of Firebreak I was able to make a windfall from Ban Photons. I sold 45 ban Photons on Day 2 of Firebreak for something like 50k, which is a lot of money for me.
Now it's hard to sell them as the market is dropping out on them. But that's cool.
75k seems to be the average price for Garment auras, but yeah...when you think about it, that's kind of high for something that's not really that hard to obtain in the big picture. If I had one in my shop, I'd prolly sell it for around 30k....that seems like a reasonable price for something that's essentially clothing AND is taking away an extra slot in your armor.

Ill probably end up stockpiling auras, posters and ban photons till quite a while after the event ends, wait for prices of the stuff to go back up before selling them off for a small fortune.

Also try wearing the garment aura with the two headed ragnus. That's funny. You're a giant fire ball.

On the subject of inflated prices...

Last night, I had someone in my party who was soliciting ban-photons to his fellow party members for 22,000 meseta. I ignored him at first, but eventually piped up and said: "Don't you think that's awful expensive? I mean, they drop so frequently here." And I'm sure most everyone knows that's the truth. After running Heat Wave Island B for a few hours, I had over 50 ban-photons in my inventory. Anyway, this guy didn't reply to my question with an actual answer; he just typed in "20," which I figure was his way of being generous by lowering the price to 20,000 meseta. Ha. I was about to punt the guy, but he ended up leaving us after that. Hilarity, indeed!

on the ps2/pc servers, they are ridiculously jacked up in price. as well as everything else.

No kidding; I was looking for a creasabra to grind and use but all of them were like 1mil and up. Luckily I found a person sellling them for 350k but still.

Pc/ps2 side first day I sold Garment Aura for 5 million, and so far two more for 2 million each lol. Helped to pay for my grinding.

Makes me kind of sad I didn't get in on the Garment Aura-pawning craze. I mean, sure, I'm disgusted at a lot of the shop prices going around, but this is easily a case of making money off the rich and lazy. No shame at all in that.

However, the stocking-up-for-later-demand thing sounds like a good idea, especially since signs are that this is a limited-edition item. Gets me to wondering if I should do the same thing with BR Burning Posters, too.

May 29, 2007, 11:21 AM
Well I'm taking full advantage of this fire break event.

I started a new character cause I didn't want to waste the mission points. I got to guntecher by level 9 and have sold 3 garment auras for 100K each. All this in 11 hours of gameplay.

I'm gonna milk this till it is over and will probably save some garment auras for sale in the future when they are more scarce.

Gotta love lazy rich players.

Not so sure about the Burning Rangers Posters. The Garment Aura probably has a higher general demand. Burning Rangers is a bit more obscure. Less people know about the BR team, less than that actually played the game, and an even smaller amount of those people own the game.

just wait till after firebreak, when garment aura's are no longer accessible... we're going to have 500k garment aura's.

The only problem is the sheer amount of people trying to think ahead and save several garmet auras...as of right now I'm selling the Ban-photons. I'll also be cashing in on a few garmet auras when they stop selling completly...which should be in a day or so at this rate. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Technically a 100k is a decent deal say if you take 99Bans times that on the average amount the sell for lets say 2000m 99*2000=198000, so buying a garment for a 100k is good, in my opinion, but thats just me, I would still rather get free bans in mission and not pay a cent because I am a cheap bastard.

With all this Aura Garmet craze I just realized something (not that I'm a hunter but) wouldn't now be the best time to try and synth Fire Weapons? I mean, if it truely has anything to do with Availability per/day to make Weapons based on the type of Photon (which would explain why I have suck luck with Gra and Megi...no one else wants that kind of armor/etc http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif )....then people should at least give it a try synthing today and see the results http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Of course. My priority is synthesis so that's why I've been collecting ban photons. Collect 99, then gift wrap, then collect more. This will eventually get me one of those wonderful 50% armors and weapons I've been wanting to get ;- ;

I still own the American and Japanese versions of Burning Rangers for the Saturn. Got to love the cheezy intro song. But then again Sega is known for their cheezy intro songs. Burning Rangers is a fun game. Nothing like futuristic firefighters.

It seems like an excellent idea too since that Ice Mountain should be opening soon...maybe for the Ice Break Event?

Now is the best time to synth FIRE armor, and ICE weapons.

Ageha, Hoza, or Ga-Senaba's are the easiest. I synthed 20 Fire armors, but sadly didn't get one over 26% Lot's of 18, 20, and 22% though.
