sOOo Anyone have a +10 Tengoh Bow Yet?

But even at +10 they aren't as good as a 7* Hanmateri, What a shame. Great PP but not even near the ATP...

They're good if you're a low level, so you can use them quicker. Like my CAST ForteTecher friend has one; he's still far from using it, but he'll be able to use it faster than a Hanamteri.

By the way, does it still have a splash effect like it does offline?

Highest known grind is at +7:
1512 PP
351 ATP

It has a low requirement and a high PP regen rate, a trade off for such is the lower stats.

Awww so basically my +10 Alteric with 667 ATP still outdoes the damage of at least a +7 Tengoh bow?

And getting to +10 on a Rare A rank weapon at this time is not... Cost-Effective let's put it that way... Maybe if i had a spare Tengoh i'd risk blowing up the first. Failing a lvl 2 Grind has made me wary of A grinders though...

Same here. People really have to stop talking down the Tengogh Bow so much. Particularly to a Guntecher, that high amount of PP for any Bow shooting a nice SE4 DOT effect is a godsend. Having that many more shots to land your effects is incredible, for high levels. Particularly for monsters where the direct bow damage is a joke compared to the Burn or Poison damage. If I want direct damage, for the most part, I'd normally go for something else other than the Bow. More and more, we're seeing lots of big monsters within a level, with hitpoint levels of 40,000 and above.

You got Gol Dovas out there, for which, the main thing one needs to do is either use a G-trap, for decent damage, or land the Burn Level 4 from a Bow or Rifle for Big damage. Every other bullet is meh. The little bit of direct damage loss is inconsequential. It registers at less than 1%.

And if you think for once I'm getting a Ulteri to 10+ to get that PP. Or to even 5+, you GOT to be kidding me. The Tengogh is way easier to get. A Plus 3 already is pushing close to 1500PP. Try comparing it to a lower bow.

only x 4 grind here so far but i really like these bows. having such high pp allows you to carry just one bow in your pallette.

ok, the damage isn't great but you can get many more shots away.

And everytime they do drop, someone else always seems to get it in the set in order/random rotation.

I find them relatively cheap in shops, as there isn't a whole lot of demand for them.

PC/PS2 btw.
It's only used for Tengoh bows (I believe). So I figured they can't possibly go for that much. But when searching for them, they're generally priced at 100k each!
Maybe I'll find an occational one that's 50k. But come on! So it'll cost about/over 750k for a bow that's not even good to use without the risk of grinding them?! Let alone the base % that my PM would even succeed?

I've read the old threads about Olpad hunting (out dated from Dec.). Hunted them on 3* luck days, and they don't seem to drop like candy (like others implied). Got plenty of Kerseline, Teranite, etc. though.

Maybe I just have lousy luck?

I swear. This whole synthesis + grinding system is broken. Give me back my red box drops!

that bow maxes at about 400atp. it's not worth using. if you're really hurting that bad for a bow with PP hanmaterics grind really well at first and kubara wood is much easier to get. but a tengoh bow maxing out with less atp than a store bought 7* bow is just not worth the effort. you're getting it for the looks cause it's not doing you much else. I generally hit for about 625-650 when using the right bullet. this means critical hits for close to 1k. the only argument one can make for tengoh is the low reqs to equip, but even then an alteric doesn't take much more to equip and is much better for damage, though I'll concede tengoh beats it for PP hands down.

in regards to grinding a tengoh bow. I'd rather grind my Ulteri. they're easier and cheaper to produce by far so if one DOES break my heart wouldn't go along with it. even with luck 3 and a grinder +10 you don't have guarenteed success in even getting an A rank to +2 and seeing as how in countless tengoh infested neudaiz runs, i've only seen 1 ala drop and 1 board drop, I'd say the stakes in grinding your tengoh are much higher...break your tengoh if you want, but I sell Ulteri +5s in my shop for less than you can buy a tengoh bow for.

@chibilegolass: I have about 25 oipads, but 100k is actually as low as it gets. if you really want to farm them the best place is dual sentinel B. if you pound that place you can get enough oipads in about 2 days.

If you're using a longbow, it'll likely be for applying SEs. In that case ATP isn't really an issue but ATA since that's believed to help boost the rate of SEs applying. In this case, the Tengoh Bow is lacking badly in terms of ATA compared to other longbows of its level, making it sub par in that way.

Keep in mind it'd also make a good bow to help level up the ultimate Bow Photon Art with it's large PP capacity.

And you could use it for SEs if you kept on blasting away with the thing.

Lol, silly me... After i was done spamming Labs today i went to look at prices on stuff and I thought up about a
tengoh Bow... I found one for 105K and i had 107K so i bought it without thinking.... When I looked at it it turned out it was +3 and 20 mins later I traded my friend my hanmateri for the tengoh bow he had.... also the night when humans had 3* luck i accidently bought a tengoh ala for 10K thinking it was an Onmagoug auge and thought "holy crap thats cheap!!" and bought it, and right when i said yes i read tengoh ala.... I dont see how its so hard to get the Tengoh bows... MEGIDDO OUT!!

kinda is, when I bought the first bow I remembered that Kubara weps usually grind well and I kept it... Then I went to try and sell my maser cannon to a friend after getting a thunder Cannon on my very first Labs run... No, no splash damage online. That splash effect actually applies to all bows offline, not just the Tengoh. I've had people tell me that there is likely an Ultimate Longbow PA with splash damage, as one of the online PM's (432, I think?) uses longbows with a non-elemental, splash damage bullet.

I use the Tengoh bow for 2 things. My Ensei-sou lv30 and my Insei-sou lv30. It is a good SE whoring weapon. It's like a longbow verion of the Falgohoh IMO.
