View Full Version : Oddball obsession: wanting to party with ProTransers

So I looked through my card list last night, and noticed it had a disproportinate number of ProTransers. How can that be? It' not like they are a very popular job...hrm.

Porbably it's because I only accept cards from players who are nice, and competent; and ProTranser tend to bring that out in people. It's a team oriented job, for one, and requires thought/skill to play. Excacty the type of player I want to be seen with.

Or maybe I just like Tranny's...

I think Protranser weeds out the bad players early on... with the job requirements what they are, a PT can switch to any of the other hybrid classes. The people who can't handle/have no patience for/don't like the PT class can just switch to something else.

And a PT is a born party player, no doubt.

I saw a CAST PT last night on uni 1 and almost pissed myself.

We aren't THAT uncommon...

I see alot of PT players that are just doing it for fun/maxing out all their classes. But a Main job protranser? yea, i only know of a handfull besides myself.

Virus traps, Silence traps, forgot other. More powerful traps, can fill the role of most of the melee jobs and can fill the role of all gunner(cept Guntecher)types.

Enough said.

confused traps: buffed Vanda's are a threat to themselves. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Everybody loves trannies. Need a fighter? Need a gunner? We're the best of both worlds.

I think now more than ever is a good time to play as a PT, the Nuedaiz fire missions are easy, you could lvl the job to 4 or 5 before you know it, and it doesnt matter if u die so you can work the kinks out learning the job.

Maybe everyone found out about the Burn EX traps and wanted to get a head start on the class level. =p

I was in a party earlier on for the Neudaiz firebreak missions. Got to the Seed Vitace and I dropped a Virus G then switched to my Gur Missal. The fF in the party stops everything to as "Who's doing 2k damage? and HOW?" I think he learned the value of a tactical PT there

Which reminds me, I need to start saving up for a Gur Missal. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I love confusing Vandas with traps... too bad so few other players seem to know how to let them kill each other... usually, I will use a confusion trap, then some bozo will spam a blowback PA, sending them far away from each other >_<

Newman PT is the only combination I find enjoyable. I would totally join you if I was on the 360 version. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Newman PT...okay,you are officially either suicidal or totally badass. Either way I salute you.

As for saving for the Gur Missal,I really lucked out getting mine. Found one in a player shop for 190k.

They're not all smart. Like the ones that love to overwrite my SE4 Burn with constant Trapspam x_x Traps are great and all, but....think before you use them. And learn to love those who put in the effort to level a Rifle capable of an SE4 status effect http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

try running into someone who thinks poison traps are a better option on Gol Dova than Burn G. almost made me claw my eyes out in frustration. Not even on one Gol Dova, every single one at the end of the second Parum firebreak mission >.<
