I my clothes in phantasy star is there any easy way to make meseta besides free missions?

Selling things. Photons usually get you some good money. Di, Ban, and Ray photons are pretty popular and will get you about 1k a piece.

After you get 15k meseta from mission rewards (save up), buy a shop. Sell any junk you find in missions for about 50% of what they sell from NPCs (or get an average from the player shops). If an item isn't NPC sellable, check other shops to find an average price. Selling things in this shop is the best way to make money, since mission rewards tend to be junk.

if you want to make me a bunch of cast parts ill buy them for 500 meseta a piece. thats about 1500 bucks for 1-3 minutes of easy work! (yeah im lazy and sick of doing it) if you dont know just recreate casts and strip their parts. hit me up if you're interested.

go to the room deco shop. Its 15k, but thats a drop in the bucket compared to the cash you can potentially make off the thing. Just keep it well stocked.
