How many did you synth for your 50%

Meh, I'm trying to synth a 38/44/50% pair of fists (no luck yet, natch) and I'm wondering how patient to be.

So for those perfectionists, how many synth did it take for your 50%?

My 3rd Midiline was 50% fire
My 3rd Nightwalker(I think, maybe Bonedance) was a 50% Shock
My 3rd Ank Barde was 50% fire (lol gimp)

I stopped synthing weapons though, as it's a hopeless endeavor unless you get 4/5 50%, and that just never happens. It's a meseta sink that isn't the best way to get monies. I'll stick to cheap grinders and the occasional high % armor.

Hah, my first double saber was a 50% ice.

My second stinger was a 50% earth.

Since then, no 50%s at all.

In the way of NOT luck, it took me something like, uh... 9 or 10 Jogiris/Caliburn attempts before I got one that was 38% ice?

Anything over 20% is worth striving for, IMHO. 50% is nice, but don't expect it. Go for anything over 20% and you'll be happier.

Edit: and tis is certainly me whining about anything. I pulled a 38% dark ageha senba out of my PM, then in the same week, pulled a 34% light midi line.

I have two things at 50%. One Heavy Twins with 50% light, and one Ageha-Senba with 50% dark. Nice to have for the HIVE. I also have a 44% fire Ageha-Senba too, got it JUST before Firebreak's release, and was happy, because I was shooting for a high fire% armor. 50% isn't needed for either, but it does help a bit. I really don't go for super high %s on weapons, just the armor. Above 20% weapons is nice, but annoying for me to get multiples. For armors, I try to settle for a 40%+, as getting a 50% is batshit rare, but 40%+ would make a substanial diffrence over a simple 20% armor. And you only NEED one high element% armor per element, verses several high element% of various weapons per element, not factoring in if you want multiples of the same weapon...

Out of 8 muktrand boards i pulled out 2 50%'s shame they where both dark though...after that no others came frome the next batch of 16 boards (my luck ran out)
Armor however....i won't go there (So much bad luck)

Didn't count but must have been well over 60 synths... to give you an idea, I basically use most money and items I find on synthing, I rarely sell stuff so I make very little money from that preferring to hunt for stuff by myself... I only ever made one 44% weapon (4* lightning twin saber, hurray ._.) and a handful of 38%s.

After my rich uncle Jerry Haxington died and left a huge inheritence for me, I started synthing Survivors (6* GRM Single Dagger) like madness. Probably synthed something in the neighborhood of 60 over the course of a week or so, and out of that only got a 50% Dark, 50% Lightning, 38% Earth, and 34% Fire. Managed a nice 50% Dark Last Survivor the other day just unloading boards in the PM. I have yet to make an Ice weapon with more than 18% -- fucking rarest and most expensive photon and I don't have one decent weapon with it. I also failed my Deva-zashi today trying for ice element.

Fuck ice, okay?! I'm not even putting that shit in my tea anymore.

At the time, that was my ub0rz weapon, I was so horrified. I have a bunch of 34/38/44 weapons, but they are all 3* schlock.

Well the day before FireBreak I was desperate for an ice weapon and needed a new pair of fist. Went to the local Yohmei synthesis shop bought a 6* fist board(I only like yohmei fist). Took it out the next day thinking it would fail and I was shocked to find........30%! That's the highest thing I ever synthed ;_;.

I've only had 1 50% and it was a light twin stinger. Ended up selling that. I made alot of 44% or less last survivors though. I'm gonna mass fire katsuno soon though,
