We wondered this stuff a long while ago. I'm all for a bit of Floader action, myself. I guess it's more of a wait and see, with those.

Though I like the naming of Boat Tank Lizard.

Makes me want to call it Boat Lizard Tank. That way we can simply say, BLT.

The famitsu cup is, at the very least, getting Floader races. Which is quite nice, but If thats the case then it would seem its only a temporary deal. I'd really like to see some vehicle based missions that are permanent attractions, mainly I want the tank.

Meh, I found the vehicle missions to be a horrible distraction when playing the offline story mode. There are other games that do vehicle racing and vehicle combat much better. I wouldn't be adverse to them adding in vehicle missions but I personally would not play them.

I look at them as simply mini-games in an RPG series. (Final Fantasy being one of the more known ones that seem to always want to include them). In general, other games do the same genre of games much better, but people appreciate the distraction.

It would be cool if there were special Floader missions where you ride one through a course, and it can take you to some far-off lobby (like Lake Denes or something). Use it as a fun way to facilitate quicker travel.

Off topic slightly, what do you all think the chances are of us seeing some new vehicles in AoI? I personally cant understand why we dont have space ships in a such a space themed game, so some fighters would be a nice addition, no?

Actually, If I had my way Id make vehicles MUCH more important to the gameplay, as in require there usage to get to certain areas. Then Id allow a parts customization system (nothing fancy, just 3 different part types per vehicle), which would basically be sick.

But then you dont exactly see SoA asking for my opinion DO you?
